Sweets From Your Sweet.

It's one of my favorite weeks of the whole year!  Valentine's Week!  Yipppeeee!!!

I'm a sucker for all things pink, white, red, and lovely.  I can't explain what it does to my heart and soul when I see the charming little treats and gifts.  It's.  Just.  FUN!

When it comes to Valentine candy, I have three clear front runners on the favorites list.  Now really, there's not much candy I will deny.  But a girl definitely has her favorites.  Let's dish.



Mmmm.  Gobstopper hearts.  Few things are quite as delicious as Gobstopper hearts.  I love them!  I wish they made these all year long because they're the perfect size, shape and flavor.  Much better than the regular round ones.  Yum.



I mean .... the Reese's Peanut Butter seasonal shapes are clearly the best, and the heart surely doesn't disappoint!  I eat the V part first and finish off with the top humps.  Mmmm.  I could eat these every day for the rest of my life and be a happy girl.



This is an awful picture, but my all time FAVORITE Valentine candy is the Russell Stover Roman Nougat.  Husby has surprised me with a whole box of them the past few years, because in the regular assorted box you only get a couple.  And they are just so delicious.  The inside is pink (yay, cute!), but with the consistency of a hard caramel, with some chopped nuts in there.  OH. MY. GOODNESS. They are the best.  The best!  I always get my fill of them this time of year, and what a glorious feeling in my tum-tum.

Now.  I may be shunned for this upcoming comment, but you guys.  I don't like these.



Now don't get me wrong.  They are as adorable as the day is long, but they just taste like chalk to me.  I buy them every year to decorate with and to play the game with, but you'll not catch me pop one in my mouth.  It's kind of like candy corn  - I just can't do it!

What kinds of candies will you be sneaking bites of or dropping hints for this year?
