The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons.     When my daughter was about that age, elderly ladies constantly approached us in the grocery store to fawn over her. And she was an early and clear speaker. And would look at me every time and say, "I don't like that lady." MORTIFYING. (We eventually taught her to say "I don't KNOW that lady," but it happened at least ten times.)
