Disney Extravaganza: Day 5 - EPCOT

EPCOT is so much FUN, and I wish we would have had more time there since there is so much to see.

Mom, Hollie and I in our attempt to do a headshot with the giant ball in the background.  Didn't work out too well.  ;)

We were there during the Flower and Garden Festival and oh my goodness, it was gorgeous everywhere we turned.

I love walking around all the different countries.  We had to fly through a lot of them!

Here we are in Mexico.

Over in the good ole US of A, my Mom stopped to dance to the Herman's Hermits concert that was going on.

We had dinner at the BEST restaurant in Italy and somehow I  got zero pictures of it.  We had some great pizza and some amazing chicken alfredo!  Yummy!

I did snap this picture of Ezra giving Glma*Ma his first flower.  So presh.

My favorite ride in EPCOT was definitely Soarin'.  It was absolutely AMAZING!  We didn't get to ride a ton of rides that day, because we had two sit-down meals and we spent a lot of time over in the countries, but if I could go back and just ride one ride there I would make sure it was Soarin'.  I would love to do the Test Track next time. :)

We ended the day with Husby showboatin'.

What a super fun park!  I wanna go back!!

I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  4. This is crazy but the first time I went to Disney with my in laws we went to Epcot and Herman's Hermits was playing. I have pics of my MIL dancing too! Loved reading all your recaps. It makes me want to go back again.

  5. I have absolutely LOVED the Disney series you've done. I am Disney obsessed and wish I could go at least once a year :) I'm from Florida, born and raised and didn't get to go until I was 25 years old. My parents took me when I was 1 or 2 but I don't remember it. Anyway, I LOVE Disney and think the attention to detail and everything about that place is amazing.

I'm glad you went on Soarin'...that's also my favorite ride :) I think I could go on that over and over again and be completely satisfied.

Let us know how the beach day went and next time...head up to the Panhandle of Florida for the beach (Pensacola Beach, Destin, etc.) the beaches are much prettier! :)

  6. Soarin' is my favorite ride there, too (Test Track is a close second!) I think that the food at Epcot is hands-down the best food in the park! I LOVE the Biergarten in Germany!

  7. I just re-read all of your Disney posts after we just got back from a short Disney vacation. I have to say - I can't believe how well behaved Ezra was - my son was almost 18 months and he threw fit after fit the entire time! I kept thinking, "Whitney's kids seemed so well-behaved for their trip and they stayed so late into the night!" I don't know how you do it!!!
