Redecorating the Master.

Over the past couple of months I have redecorated our master bedroom and the boys' bathroom.  I thought I would give you guys a little peek into those spaces this week.  :)

Our bedroom has chocolate brown walls and was originally done in yellows and reds.  I loved the pattern and cheeriness of it, but we were ready for something new and with less enormous pillows.  I had about 12 decorative pillows on the bed, that ultimately landed on the sides of the bed, and we were just running out room!

I fell in love with this bedspread/bedskirt and curtains from Anthropologie, so when I saved enough money for the purchase, I went for it.  The colors are a soft blue and cream, with hints of silver sparkle. I mean, come on ... if there's room for bling, I'm all over it.

The decorative pillows are all from Bed, Bath and Beyond.  The Euro shams that match the bed spread are from Anthro.

I tried messing with the settings to try to get a more accurate photo of these pillows, but they all turned out weird.  Oh well.

It's really, really difficult to photograph my room due to the layout.  So this is all I could squeeze in.  Just imagine another window (on the other side of the dresser) with the same curtains. And a chair there.

Those curtains are my favorite curtains in all the land.  I wish I could put them in every room in every color.  No, for real.  I do.

Soft.  Frilly.  Feminine.  LOVE.

And they look SUPER fun not pulled back, too.  They're bouncy and fantastical.

We took down our fixture/ceiling fan (the fan part didn't work) that gave out super dim lighting in our room, and got a pretty little chandy.  It lights that thing up like a Christmas tree!  I'm telling you, we saw whole new corners in our room that we never saw before.  Ha!  I love it.

And there's our bedroom ... well, part of it.  We are loving the change and the downsize in pillows! :)
