7 Little Moments

I finally remembered to take more pictures with my phone this week and actually had one for every day. It has been far too long since I have done a 7 Little Moments, but it's back baby!

It was a gorgeously rainy and cool day - finally feeling like fall. So, I initiated this new beauty into the fall decor family and I just love it. I will decorate the rest of my house after the first day of fall. I'm a rule follower like that.

Sat

My parents were babysitting Maxwell that weekend and Husby was working all day, so I asked them to come up and go with me and Weebie to see The Lion King. It was a fun adventure!

Sunday, September 18.

Sun

We celebrated Maxwell's birthday! It was a Mickey Mouse theme (as you can see from all the little ears!), and it was a lot of fun. Levi ate more sugar that day than I think he has his whole life combined. He had 3 entire rock-candy suckers (nibbled down to the stick!), some Twizzlers, some Starburst, a cookie, a giant slice of cake, some Skittles and some M&M's. My gracious, that boy was in HEAVEN.

Mon

Levi is SO into superheroes right now. Especially Spiderman and Batman. Glam*Ma bought him a couple of dress-up costumes to play around in and let me tell you, he did NOT want to take this thing off. He was trying to climb the walls and screaming, "SPIDERMAN IS HERE TO SAVE THE DAY!" all day long. It was so cute.

Tuesday, September 20.

Tues

Hanson concert! I already wrote about this and already posted this picture, but it was absolutely the highlight of my day! :)

Wednesday, September 21.

Wed

Levi and I went grocery shopping and SOMEBODY placed this little treasure on the conveyer belt when I wasn't looking. When I got home and was unloading the food, I found this and stifled my laughter. What a little BOOGER!

Levi played outside for a little bit with a couple neighborhood dogs. He just loves dogs so much. They loved him, too. They were jumping all over him. :)

And there you go! A few moments out of our week! :)
I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  1. A picture a day is such a good idea! I really need to start doing this!

  2. Precious pictures and the spiderman one just melted my heart. If you do get a cricut, they have some super hero cricut cartridges.

You can tell it's early...I saw the heart and though, "oh she has a lovely heart on the top of her mailbox". Hmm, duh.... PS I wasn't looking for your street address...not like that so that isn't what I was saying :)

  3. Love the costumes! With my daughter its like "Which princess dress do I wear today?" and with my son its "Buzz or Woody- which shirt today?" That's so great that you live on a cul-de-sac. I know you will appreciate it even more when #2 arrives and Levi can play in the front yard while you sit on the porch!

  4. My son has the exact same spiderman costume. It is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. They look so funny with all those little muscles. He loves superheroes, but we weren't going to let him watch the new movies. So I ordered the old 1960s Batman movie off of Amazon. He loves it, and we don't have to worry about inappropriate language or to much scariness. It's way too cheesy for that.

  6. Like Christi said I saw your mailbox and thought why does she have a heart on her mailbox still? ha! I think I may need some coffee or a nap!

Levi is a cutie in his spiderman outfit!

  7. What a fun week! Birthday parties, movies, grandparents, concerts, superheros...what DON'T you guys do? :-)

  8. Spiderman=cutie!!

Question: Was the Lion King 3-D? Did they have to wear the glasses? I want to take my 2.5 year old but I'm certain he will have nothing to do with glasses on his face!

  10. How ironic! I was just thinking it had been a long time since you did a 7 little moments post. Glad to see it return!
