Advent Days 5, 6 & 7.

We had a change of plans and ended up staying all weekend on our little getaway instead of coming home Saturday night. I meant to post these last night when we got home, but....I caught a little bug on our trip and I've been S-I-C-K for the past 24 hours. It's tough being sick with a baby around, ya know? Especially after Husby goes to work! But little Levi has been an absolute angel. Sweet boy.

Anyway, I will post all about our excursion tomorrow, but until then, here are the past three days of Advent. Let's play catchup.

So far, our story is as follows:

Caesar Augustus said that a census must be taken. So Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem to register. Mary was going to have a baby. An angel told Mary her baby would be the Son of God. In Bethlehem, it came time for Mary to have her baby. But there was no room for them at the inn. So she had her Son in a stable.
I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  8. Sorry to hear you are sick, I hope you are doing better! Please don't give that "bug" to little Levi or Husby. It is no fun being sick as a Mommy, we don't seem to get "sick days"! Hope you were able to enjoy your weekend away!
