Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is older he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
Sunday, we dedicated Levi to the Lord in front of our Church congregation. It was just precious. He, along with several of his little baby friends were prayed for and given a blessing as we promised to show him the Lord and the church promised to encourage and lift us up along the way.
Husby gave me (semi) full reign on Levi's attire for the day. I wanted him to be dressed in his finest clothes as this was a very big day for him! One we will never forget.

Now would you just LOOK at this baby?

Why he won't let me dress him like this every day, I will never know.

It brings tears to my eyes, experiencing such events as these, knowing that this is the very beginning of little Levi's spiritual journey.

Our prayer for him every day is that he will love the Lord our God with all his heart, soul, mind and strenght.

The he will find and know Jesus from an early age, and make Him Lord of his life.

And that we, as his parents, will be a living example of a Christ-centered marriage.

How I love this Little Lamb.
It was a beautiful day with beautiful meaning.

It was a little chilly this morning, so I put a presh little sweater on my Weebie. It had pretty embroidered trains and automobiles on the front to match the embroidery on his little outfit. Oh, what a gentleman.

He just looks like a baby in clothes like this. And I want to keep him a wee one for as long as I possibly can.
Our Church got a new Pastor back in August and this was his first Baby Dedication Service since serving here. We were so excited to be a part of it!!

Our little family of three. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for our firstborn. Our pride. Our joy.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful occasion! Baby Levi looked absolutely angelic in his outfit. I dressed my children like that every day for as long as I could. Boys especially will be wearing nothing but jeans and khakis the rest of their lives. They're only babies for a short while!
