A Dirt Bike Birthday!

 Birthday tables are a tradition for my boys since they turned one! It's so fun looking back on all their past birthdays and seeing what they were into at each stage of their lives. We have come a long way from red wagons and Sesame Street and now we're into their favorite past times - like riding dirt bikes! 

I guess that's what happens when you're about to turn TWELVE.

Yeah, that's right. I said twelve.

My Weebie Boy is about to turn twelve and I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown over here. How are we one year away from there being the word "teen" at the end of his age? I can't even think about it. Someone send help. And cookies. Each and every variety of cookie, please.

But we're going to ignore what's ahead of us in a year and focus on the here and now. He's just (almost) twelve. That's practically ten which is basically 6, so really he's still a toddler. 

I'm feeling better already.

I thought this table turned out super fun! Levi absolutely loved it, and I filled all the jars with his favorite treats. Simple, colorful and festive! Everything a birthday should be.

I like to use decor that can be repurposed, and this Parking sign is perfect! It will go in his room as part of his decor as his bedroom is a reflection of all the things he loves - books, travel, bicycles and dirt bikes!

The cake made me laugh. I took a photo to our local grocer and it ended up way smaller than I intended and expected. The dirt bike and rider I bought to go on top looked gigantic on the track, but what are you gonna do? We all got a good laugh! 

We had a great time celebrating my favorite almost-twelve year old in the world!
