God with us.

Faith isn't always easy. In fact, most of the time it isn't. Trusting your life in One you cannot physically see and cannot audibly hear is sometimes challenging and often times confusing.

But then there are times when you're walking through life on a regular day and God blatantly reveals Himself in a mighty way. Gently reminding you He's there. That He has you safely and securely in the palm of His hand. It's a boost to our soul to continue fighting the good fight, and it is these moments He gives us to refer to when we're feeling alone, faithless, or without hope.

This past weekend Darin was asked to speak at a medical convention in front of 60+ physicians. He spent months preparing his presentation, pouring countless hours each night into what he was going to say. He was extremely nervous leading up to the event as his crowd isn't exactly the least intimidating of audiences. ;) He asked me and both our families to pray for him, specifically for his nerves, and we had been for days.

The morning of the convention, before he headed down to the conference room, he was spending his daily time in the Word and prayer in our hotel room. He opened up the app on his phone he typically reads each morning, and the verse waiting for him was this.

I mean, WOW.

Ironically, it left Darin speechless! 😉

You guys. He's here! He is ever present in our lives and He loves us so deeply that He knows and cares about every single detail of our lives, no matter how big or small.
Keep fighting! Keep trusting! He's real, He's faithful, and He is our hope.

I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.
