If You Think About It.

Hey friends!

We have a LOT going on in our lives right now concerning the future.  Husby has been on airplanes flying all over the grand US of A interviewing at fellowship programs and will continue to do so over the next couple of weeks & months.

I won't bore you with the details of everything that is happening because the whole process is pretty confusing - especially if you aren't familiar with the way these things work.  But, I am asking for prayer for our little family.

Please pray for -

Clarity.
Direction.
Peace.

Husby is going to be an amazing asset to any program, and with that comes a lot of confusion of knowing where God wants us.  It would be plain and simple if he only got one offer from one program, then boom - that's where we'd go.  But that is not necessarily going to be the case, and so in order for us to make wise decisions, literally every little detail needs to fall into place over the next couple of weeks.  Some programs are offering spots earlier than others, with contracts in place.  We would love to have all of our options opened and able to see every program before potentially being offered one that we would basically have to take or leave before knowing about future offers.  Like I said, so many little (huge) details need to fall into place.

And we know that NOTHING is impossible with God.

It's so easy to sit and stress about it all.  Which I do.  But at the same time, I have such a peace about next year.  We have so many people covering us in prayer, encouraging us during this really hard time, and literally swooping in to help us out in any way they can - physically and emotionally.  We have such a strong support system backing us as we wade through everything that is flooding our lives right now.  They are my life support - keeping my head above the water.

Thank you, friends, for your love and interest in my family.  You will never know what your e-mails and comments mean to me, and the constant encouragement that always seems to come from one of you at exactly the right moment.  Amazing how people from all over the world that I have never even met can go before the throne on our behalf.  For that, I am so very grateful.

I love that you people are on this journey with us.

And hopefully, wherever we end up next year, one of you will live there and become my BFF.  :)

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Jesus Christ through all generations, forever and ever.  Ephesians 3:20

  9. I always think of that song, "why worry, when you can pray?" So easy to sing, not always easy to practice though.
Wherever you and your family 'end up', I know you'll quickly make your house a home, add new friends to your family, experience new places with your boys, and find a new place to worship and serve. You'll be a great mama and wife anywhere!

  11. I will certainly pray! We have been married for 9 years and have endured 3 corporate moves (similar, but not quite the same as your situation) so I know how crazy it can be. God will bring you through it! And if you end up near Atlanta please let me know how I can help make the transition smoother for your family!
