What a Week!

Last week was one for the record books!  My brother and sister-in-law had their new baby on Monday and then on Wednesday, we left for a trip with my husbands family to Branson, MO. for the rest of the week.  God crammed all kinds of huge events into that one little week! :)

It was a real treat being in Branson with Husby's family because his sister and brother-in-law and their boys who live in Nashville met up with us and we all spent the week together.  We only get to see them a couple times a year, so it's always so great to spend a good chunk of time with them.  Husby's parents rented a condo and we did so many fun things - shows, shopping, eating, Silver Dollar City, and lots more.  Here is a picture overload!

All the grandboys.  Ages almost 4, 3 and a half, 22 months and 8 months!

I did a lot of this that week ... taking the two older boys to the bathroom with me!  You gotta do what you gotta do! "Turn around and face the door and tell me a story, boys!"

Silver Dollar City always proves to be a great day - especially this time of year with all the lights!

My brother-in-law and I took our oldest boys on this ride and they LOVED it! We're up there somewhere!

The older boys rode lots of rides and had so much fun!  Oh, and I ran into a fun blog reader! So fun talking with you, pretty lady!! :)

We watched their production of a Christmas Carol and the boys loved the snow falling down.

We also ate big cookies.

Yum.

We did so much there's no way I can fit it all into this post, but some highlights include The Dixie Stampede, Joseph (LOVED that play), and The Price is Right!

Ezra played peeky boo before the Stampede!

Me and my pretty SIL!

Two very excited little boys!

The Price is Right was SO much fun!  It's exactly like the real Price is Right, just without the cameras! Todd Newton was the celebrity host! :) You can win all sorts of prizes - appliances, electronics, cruise trips and even a car!  It was awesome! My Mother-in-Law was the SECOND name called in the whole show to "come on down"... we were freaking out!  She didn't get to get on stage to play the big game because her bid was off, but it was still so much fun.  And then on the very last round, my Sister-in-Law got called!  We could NOT believe that out of all those people, TWO from our family got chosen!  She didn't get out of contestants row either (the bidding part), but it was fun!

Can you believe Levi is the second oldest?  He looks like the oldest by far! Ha!

We had a great week and these are just a few highlights.  It was one we'll never forget!

I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.
