Every year I get dozens of comments and e-mails telling me that THIS is the post you look forward to most during the year. And I can't say I blame you! Christmas at Glam*Ma's is always the prettiest, coziest and loveliest. This house should be in a Parade of Holiday Homes! Here is her fabulous Christmas decor 2012.
We arrived to a bed full of goodies including Lush soaps and washes, jammies for each night we would be sleeping there, and other fun things like an amazing electric throw! I'm a wee bit obsessed with it.

Are these jammies the cutest things you've ever seen in life?

The dresser was decked with the most adorable vases from Anthropologie with lights in them. Just beautiful! And we got to keep them! :)

So soothing and pretty. Love!
I'm sure you all remember the Toiletry Tree from year's past. This year she did it up even bigger and it was a full size tree!

How fun is that? It was adorned with toothbrushes, toothpaste, sparkly hair bands, lotions and much much more!

Anything you could ever need (bathroom-wise) was stuck on that tree. Awesome!
The Old World tree was as beautiful as ever and underneath she stocked it with toys for the kids to play with the days leading up to Christmas.

This is my favorite tree. I will never tire of it! It is magical!

The kitchen holds another of my favorite tree. The Gingerbread Tree!

It's SO festive and fun. Perfect for the kitchen!

And in the bathroom is another gorgeous tree that she used to have in her room when I was growing up. She hasn't put it up in several years but brought it back to life this year. I'm so happy she did because I LOVE The Shoe Tree! (With purses, too!)

Isn't that fabulous?
Next up is the living room - where everything happens!
The table theme this year was ICE! We were SO close to getting a white Christmas this year, so the theme was pretty perfect.

The blue with the crystal was just awesome.

Each guest received a beautiful candle with a glass dome over it. Loved it!

And here it is during the day.

And here is the living room tree! She hooked mercury glass candle holders onto it! Gorgeous!

And on the table was gold, frankencense and myrrh.

We each had a fabulously fun stocking, too!

So festive!!
And there you have it - (36 photos later, haha!) .... my mom's beautiful Christmas. She bends over backwards to make things special for us all. What a treasure (and a talent!) she is!!
Photos of our festivities to come! :)

Stunning! I always look forward to this post every year :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Where did she get those gingerbread lights? Those are awesome! And that ice table is gorgeous. What does she do with the table decor every year once Christmas is past? Does she ever reuse it?
ReplyDeleteYup, one of my favorite posts of the year. Your mom should have been an interior decorator or a holiday window dresser! She's awesome. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWow so very pretty! Magical!
ReplyDeleteI would love to know what she does with the stuff after she is done with it? Donate, sell etc?
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm always amazed at the details. Simply beautiful! Glad to see a post pop up this morning - I was just thinking last night that I hoped all was well with you guys. :)

ReplyDeleteI look forward to this post for weeks. You're mom is SO creative and thoughtful. She must put so much work into Christmas for ya'll. What a blessing it is that she is able to do that for her family. It seems so magical.
ReplyDeleteWOW. I'm always amazed by Glam&Ma's Christmas! It feels magical without even being there. The tree is downright gorgeous and the shoe tree?! LOVE.
