7 Little Moments {Week 11}

Friday, May 27.

It was haircut day for Weebie and Mommy. Truly this week was so eventful and jam packed that getting our hair cut is the only thing I can remember from that day right now. Ha!

We went to a cookout at my brother's house and Levi and Maxwell had their own little table. Ha, they're so cute. They look like little adults sitting there shooting the breeze.

This is at Princess Adilyn's second birthday party in the bounce house. Actually, it was a bounce castle. Levi loved that thing! Later that evening, my whole family loaded up and headed to Branson, MO. for a few days.

Levi's actual birthday! :) We celebrated big by riding the Ducks (Levi got to go up and drive it when we got in the water!) and went to the Dixie Stampede for dinner. Levi loved it so much - he talked about those horses all night long. This is Mom and Weebie looking at the horses after the show.

We took a scenic train ride and when the conductor came by, he punched an "L" in Levi's ticket. It was so neat and reminded us of The Polar Express. ;) All we needed for them to do next was bust out in dance and serve hot hot hot hot chocolate.

When we returned home late that evening, Husby and I did the ear candle that Mom bought us a few days before. It's supposed to suck out all the junk in your ears and help with sinus, allergies, hearing, etc. It was absolutely DISGUSTING cutting that candle open and seeing what was inside. I seriously almost threw up just thinking about it. There's a lot of debate out there about if these ear candles are truly legit or not, but I like to think they are. It was quite an experience! :)

Thursday, June 2.

No picture. We didn't do anything. I was sick and in bed for a lot of the day.

Gearing up for a fun filled week coming up!! Y'all probably won't be hearing from me for a little bit, so enjoy your week! :)

  1. I have a "thing! about ear wax. How did I NOT know about these candles. I need one. Like NOW.

  2. I've tried the ear candling thing....I don't think it's legit. It's gross! How is this supposed to be how God meant for us to clean our ears?!?! He put that wax in there for a reason, not that I don't think we should clean our ears, but these ear candles seem a little extreme. What does the Doc say?

  3. I'm not sure about ear candles effectiveness, but I DO know, they are really relaxing to me. Something about lying down with the crackling in my ear reminds me of fireplaces and, oddly, beaches.

I do think that things from the air, like pollutants and allergens could potentially sit in your ear and make your sick, although I think if you bathe every day it wouldn't be an issue.

The look on your husby's face is pretty funny though :D It is fun to try new things for sure!

  5. They do a Polar Express special on that train during Christmas time! You get to hear the bells and drink cocoa. It's delightful!

  6. we love Branson.

I used to work for a chiropractor and we did ear candling for a while UNTIL we burned one just by itself not in an ear........it had the SAME exact looking stuff in it afterwards! We didn't do them anymore after that!

  7. I've had ear candling done before, it works pretty well, but your right it is pretty gross what comes out of it!

  8. I LOVE ear candles. I haven't been to an ENT in years because of them. The stuff that comes out is GROSS though!

  9. Next time you do your ears, give me a ring a ling and I'll do it with you! I haven't done that in forever. I NEED to take Livy to the Dixie Stampede ASAP. She would love it:)

  10. I've done the ear thing! Isn't it the weirdest feeling?!?! But your ear feels so clean afterward. I can't decide if the inside stuff is actually earwax of if it's the inside of the candle just balling up. But, it's nasty!

  11. I strongly recommend 760Plus Credit Score. They really helped me so much, after already paying a con-artist who just took my money and did nothing for over a year, I discovered 760PLUSCREDITSCORE AT GMAIL DOT COM in a credit forum, they immediately showed results and even guided me on what my best solution for my trade in for a new vehicle would be with a lower approximate % and not to mention how well they inform me and explain to me everything that's going on with my credit. Thank you the team at 760Plus.
