I resolute ...

* To daily enrich both my role as wife and mother.

* To implement better health in my body, mind and relationships.

* To know more of Him. To show more of Him.

* To prioritize. And de-prioritize.

* To spread kindness.

* To do laundry every single week day that I am home.

What will you do in 2011?
I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  1. I resolute to spend more time with my camera and to keep up with my new challenge 365 Words. One Photo at a Time. .

  2. Happy New Year! LOL at your word resolute. I love to make up my own words too, well resolute is actually a word, just not a verb. Some of my favorite words I made up myself. :)

  3. This is the year we hope to reverse Dennis' diabetes by healthier eating and living.

  4. 1) find a new job
    2) take french
    3) find a new job (again, if the next one I get isn't a perfect fit I resolve to keep looking)

  5. Mine's vague, but "to move forward". I want to find a new job, make new friends, try new things, etc...

  6. Love the "de-prioritize" resolution :) I definitely have some high priorities that really shouldn't be so high on my list - I'll need to work on that too!

  7. What a good list--impactful and yet not too long. I especially love doing laundry every day! Loved your Christmas recaps--your boy sure is well loved!

  8. 1) Memorize 24 scriptures this year
    2) Spend time in the Word every day
    3) Eat healthier and exercise (period)
    4) Prepare our home for a future little one.

  9. Love these.

    Mine is to be kind.

  10. Great goals. I love how yours encompass the big picture, where mine are a little more specific. The prioritizing and de-prioritizing is definitely important!

  11. These are my goals for 2011.

    Read through the Bible in a year.

    Have friends over for dinner once week.

    keep my house clean.

    spend lots of time with my kids and clean once they are in bed.

  12. Great goals! Here are a few of mine:
    1. Work out 4x each week
    2. Cook dinner 4x each week
    3. Eat more fruits and vegetables
    4. Be happy with the life I have!

  13. Great resolutions! We're 5 days into the new year and I've yet to come up with my resolutions. Maybe I should resolute to not procrastinate! That would be a good one :)
