One of the most wonderful things about having a wee one is their excitement for any and everything - even the most mundane things that you and I don't give a second thought to. For instance, we as adults can stop to eat at a place named "Pig Out Palace" while traveling through Small Town, USA and not think a thing about it (except for maybe, "gee, what genius named this place?").
But when you're traveling with a sweet child who has only experienced 11 months of life so far, you stop to eat at Pig Out Palace, spot the funny looking pigs out front and jump out of your car with your bebe on your hip screaming, "LOOK WEEBIE!!! PIGS!!!!" while running frantically to the ghastly things.
Kids bring out the goofy in you.

Yes, I am the one behind The Weebie rocking the ripped jeans and Tim McGraw t-shirt. Classy with a capital C. I think with my attire that evening, I chose the right place to dine.
(For the record, we left at 7pm to drive all night to the next state that we arrived to at 1am. I wanted to be comfortable. And that is my excuse for not looking cute.)

My little man loved the little piggies.

So much so that he rode it like a bull!

Munchkin.

I love experiencing things through the eyes of my baby. He has the most beautiful zest for life that turns even the grumpiest of grumpies the smiliest of smileys.

ReplyDeleteAdorable - both the pig and your son! And I love how he makes you slow down and see life - isn't that how all great relationships work?
ReplyDeleteI love Weebie Wednesday! Reading about him and his antics always makes me look forward to the day when I have one of my own. His smile is so bright and huge. I think he looks just like you.
ReplyDeleteYou have to love roadside restaurants! He looks so happy on that pig. I'm thinking you need to get one of those things for the backyard.
ReplyDeleteI bet I know why you bought him that shirt ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch an angel! And I'm amazed he sat still on the pigs for you to get a picture. Bink would have fallen off trying to crawl around.
ReplyDeleteCuteness! Great pics!
ReplyDeleteAdorable. I know what you mean about kids bringing out the goofy in you. I'm guilty of it as well.
ReplyDeleteHa! I love how you can see the top of your head in the back of the pictures. Every time I get a cute one of my kiddos, you can always see my hand or my head - you know balancing them. How dare I try and keep them safe!
ReplyDeleteI love the second one of him on the pig. What awesome composition and the sky looks amazing too.

ReplyDeleteHe is too adorable! I've recently found your blog and really like reading it. I grew up near "Pig Out." I have pictures from high school of me and my friends on those pigs!
ReplyDeleteI love being around children for just that reason! They really do remind you of all the small things in life.
