Hello Lovies!
I get a lot of e-mails every day asking tons of questions ranging from decorating to baby to gift ideas! So, I wanted to open up this post to answer anything you may ever wonder about me! I will set aside a few posts later this week to answer them all. :)
Ready, set, ASK!

I think you sound like a fabulous mom and a fabulous person! I want to know what you were like as a toddler, so I guess this question is for your mom. Were you a sweet agreeable toddler? or were you feisty like my 3 yr old, stubborn, talkative, and extremely opinionated? I'm just looking for some hope that our darling little gremlin can turn out to be a nice and likeable adult. (so yes, I'm hoping you were an unruly toddler)
ReplyDeleteIs there ever a day where you just feel defeated?
ReplyDeleteHow many kids would you like and what age gap are you thinking?
Abigail. I have known Whitney since she was in the 4th grade and i can tell you that she is a fabulous young lady. She has the most AMAZING mom I have ever met. Her mom set a very godly example for Whitney. Whitney is a ditto of her mom...Whitney was trained in God's Word and prayer and she is a true gift from God to everyone she meets.
ReplyDeleteI love you Whitney and your mom too!
Before you had Levi-were you ever afraid about not being a good mom or scared of all the responsibilities that come along with motherhood? What about your hubby-was he ever fearful of any of these things??
ReplyDeleteBTW-I think you are a wonderful mommy and that your hubby is a wonderful daddy!! Levi is very blessed at having a wonderful set of parents!
What kind of camera do you use and what do you do all day long?
ReplyDeleteHow did you pick Levi's name? Also, do you already have names picked out for any future kids?
ReplyDeleteDescribe your typical day as a SAHM.
ReplyDeleteDont' you just love your fantastic friend Katie?
ReplyDeleteOk, what I am always amazed about is how COHESIVE your decorating is. And I've picked up on that you're having to budget w/ med school and all. So, my question is, how do you make it all work together doing it bit by bit? I never can seem to follow through...
ReplyDeleteOh how fun!!
ReplyDeleteLets see- Please describe your style/taste in clothing decorating Etc.
Did you always want to be a mom? How did you decide on the name Levi? If you had had a girl, what would you have named her?

how do you make it all work?? as a med-school wife contemplating starting a family, i am pretty scared about the challenges: having daddy around, being able to stay home (financially), being far from family (though i guess yours aren't too far!).
ReplyDeletethanks so much for writing this blog. it brightens my day!
Oh! I've been thinking about doing one of these on my blog, too! I love these posts!
ReplyDeleteMy question is what is your typical daily routine at home? Could you go through a day-in-the-life-of for me? I'd love to stay home, but I don't know what the days would be like!
It seems you have LOTS of overflowing Joy! I struggle with this area. How do you maintain your bubbly Joy throughout the ups and downs of life??
ReplyDeleteJust know you are an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWhen did you know that you were ready to have kids?
ReplyDeleteHow many kids do you want? Do you ever think you will go back to work? Do you miss working? What is your favorite thing to cook/bake? If you could have any visitor/guest (that you don't know) who would you like to host and why?
ReplyDeleteHave you ever cussed in your life or done anything that you would normally wrinkle your nose at the thought? Even when your pictures are of "bad" hairs days, you look better than I do when I try to look nice, haha!! How long does it take you to get ready in the mornings and do you 'get ready' everyday? Do you set an alarm or get up when you feel like it &/or Levi wakes you? If you have another boy, are you going to have another to just see if you can have a girl or stop...? That's a question for myself too...so I'm curious.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to see pictures of your nephew's nursery that you surprised your brother and sister-in-law with........no doubt it is adorable beyond words!
ReplyDeleteDo you ever think about "What if my kids don't think I am as great as I think MY mom is?" That's one I think about all the time. I think my mom was the greatest in the world and loved her so dearly and never wanted to disappoint her or hurt her. I feel like I fall so short of what she was to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the one baby gift Levi received that he will still want to have as an adult? As a grammy, I realized my kids don't have anything really special from their baby days. I'm planning a baby shower for my dil and want it to be very special. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat is your guilty pleasure? Do you have any "bad" habits?
ReplyDeleteAnd random, but do you ever dream about fellow bloggers? For some random reason you frequently show up in my dreams and I always say, "Look, it's Whitney from Glamorous life of a housewife!"
(o:
I just want to know how you afford make guests feel so welcome! I love all the ways you and your mom accomidate your guests but being a stay at home mom I know things like that can get pricey. How do you do it!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea for a blog post!
ReplyDeleteHere's my question:
Do you live in a house, apartment, or townhouse? And do you own or rent?
I ask because I'm living in a rental right now and have this urge to decorate, but nothing can be permanent (no paint, holes in the walls, etc) so I wanted to see if you have that problem, too, and if so what you do to make it more homey. (I love your decorating style.)
I am so glad this is going round all the blogs. It is so fun!
ReplyDeleteHow is your style / fashion as a SAHM? Do you mostly wear comfy clothes or old work style clothes? Do you still glam up every day or just for occasions?
ooh I should have also asked - What make-up, perfume etc you use in your glam life!
ReplyDeleteHas that changed much since having Levi?
Whitney, I'd like to know how you picked Levi's name, and if you have names picked out for other future children.
ReplyDeleteI would also like to know where you got Levi's bedding for " le nursh." It is seriously the most beautiful nursery I've ever seen.
Now that you have been a Mommy for a while, has it changed your outlook on how glamorous a housewife's life can be? You are so upbeat, I wonder if you ever have a bad day. (Not that I look down on that at all, I think your attitude is so great it is almost surreal!)
ReplyDeletePartially related to the first question: Do you ever edit yourself when you share on your blog, knowing that you are archiving this for the future, or because you know some people who read this, and would rather not be "too" honest?
(I do sometimes)
How you start your blog?I meant what inspired you to start a blog?Your blog was fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteHow did you get your theme for Levi's nursery?
ReplyDeleteWhat is your favorite thing to do in your town?
Are you applying all over the US for residency or just where you live currently?
Hi there,
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit of a shy blog reader, and I've never commented before. But I absolutely love your blog and your sunny attitude! :) Thanks for brightening my days!
My questions are: how did Husby propose? Was there a ring involved? What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
:)
Hello - I am just wondering when you will continue your love story series? I was so enjoying them!
