Meet Levi:

Oh wait, you've met him before? Silly me. I must have forgotten that I've written about this baby once or twice before.
Levi is a happy boy. Lots of things make him smile and giggle. Like, for instance, walking into a room that he is in.

It doesn't take much for this little face to light up.
Only once a day, though, do I get to experience on of the most precious expressions on this baby.

When evening hits, supper is simmering on the stove and the sun starts to set. Levi and I sit at the table, I feed him supper and we have lots of good "conversation" during this time.
We pray a blessing over his food, we talk about what he's eating and we say "num num" and "yummy" a lot. Sometimes, we sing.

Then comes the moment Levi (and Mommy) has been waiting for all day. We hear the garage door open and I whisper to Levi, "who is that?"

The door opens and we are greeted by a manly voice declaring, "HI FAMILY! DADDY'S HOME!"
I then, break out into a crazy happy voice screaming, "IT'S DADDY!!! IT'S DADDY!!!"

Levi starts with a shy smile as he watches Daddy walk toward him. When Husby gets near, Levi opens his mouth as wide as he can and starts to scream in sheer delight!
Hubsy gives me a kiss, and then smothers the baby in kisses and hugs.

Levi relishes in every single second of it.
And laughs hysterically.

I love the relationship of my husband and son. It is one that thrills my soul to watch flourish and strengthen and grow and change. I can see the pure admiration Levi has for his Daddy, simply by how he looks at him.
I love my boys. I thank God for their presence in my life every single day. They make my world the happiest place to be.
(These pictures were actually taken as Levi watched Daddy come home one evening.)

That's my favorite part about working outside the home--coming home. I'm sure Husby feels the same way. Nothing feels so good as returning tired and wiped and feeling the love.
