(Nephies = Nephews, in case you didn't get it.) Tee Hee.
Last week was filled with lots of quality time with my two nephies. First off, Maxwell came home (HOME! HOME! PRAISE GOD! HE'S HOME!) and we all went over for a Welcome Home celebration. I made this!

Don't laugh. It was my first attempt at writing on a cake. So hush. I can hear you chuckling.

Little Man loves being home! He squeaked and coo'd the whole time.

Levi LOVED his little cousin! It was hilarious, he was reaching for him and "talking" to him the entire time. They had a major stare down for a while. It was pretty intense.

Look at Levi's head compared to his! Hahaha! Weebie takes after his Momma. ;)

This picture (above) may very well be one of my favorite pictures of Max. The look on his face is adorable!

Maxwell was worn out by all the company, so we left and let them bond as a family of 3 at HOME! (HOME! HOME! PRAISE GOD, HE'S HOME!) Such a weird feeling for all of them, I'm sure.
(Oh, and I can't post pictures of the nursery until Luke sends me some of his photos, per his request.)
The next day, I prepared my home for Husby's sister and her little boy, Desmond.

Here was a little basket for Des.

And some funzy Bob the Builder juices for him!

A goodie basket for Casey.

Snackies next to her bed.

And some fresh goodies in the kitchen!
We had a great few days together and the boys had a lot of fun, too.
Desmond is 9 months old, and Levi is 5 months old. Ummm. Check out their height....

I BIRTHED A GIANT!!!!!!!!
Four months difference and they are the SAME HEIGHT!!! Oh gracious sakes, what am I going to do when he's one?! He'll be the size of a 3 year old!

They were infatuated with each other's packy wacky's.
Des even stole it straight from Levi's mouth!

Levi had to have a little talk with Des and tell him that it's not nice to steal other people's packies.

So Des stole his toy instead!

Fun with cousins!!

It was a great week with my nephies! One that this Auntie will treasure forever! :)

Aww, Maxwell is just too precious! And the pics of Levi and Desmond are too funny. My son is always trying to steal other kids' pacifiers!
ReplyDeleteBTW, please let me come visit! My family never has so many fun treats when we stay over :)
Love all the babies...too cute! :)
ReplyDeleteSO MANY PRECIOUS BABIES!!!
ReplyDeleteso sweet!!
ReplyDeleteI see that tummy tub back there! I LOVE those things and will totally be getting one for my child! (Whenever I have one, haha.)
Oh my goodness...Levi looks HUGE compared to little Maxwell. I'm so glad Maxwell is home and healthy.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear that sweet Max is home where he belongs! Such a blessing!!
ReplyDeleteGreat cousin pictures -- I hope you all had a fun weekend!
So glad to see Max home! I've been following from the beginning and have even taken updating a few non-blogging friends about his status. He's such a little miracle :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, you are such an awesome hostess. Those little baskets are awesome. I could really take some tips from you, I'm not that great when it comes to hosting visitors!!
Such cute photos and such a fun weekend...you are a great visit! No one ever has treats when we stay over! I love the thoughtfulness you put into it!
ReplyDeleteOh, you were such a good hostess! Casey bragged on all the stuff you had for her and Des. Glad you had such a great time together! Sorry about Des being such a thief. Hee Hee. And love the pics of little Max. So glad he is HOME!!!!! That's sure something to be thankful for this holiday season!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! I'm thankful you were able to spend time with your nephews (especially Max!) last week.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on birthing a giant! One of the pastors I work with has two little boys (ages 3 & 1) and they are both giants. It's crazy--the 3 year old was able to ride the Tower of Terror at Disney World just a few weeks ago (seriously he met the height requirement). So really a plus is when you take a vacation to an amusement park, Levi won't have to sit out on any of the rides.
What sweet pictures! I'm so glad Max is home (HOME! HOME! PRAISE GOD! HE'S HOME!). He looks so happy! And Des is a cutie patootie! That last picture is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me miss my family!!
The photo of your Dad with Maxwell melted my heart. I think Grandpas are just the cutest.
ReplyDeleteLove the boys in their diapers!
My family is coming in for the weekend, and watching all the kids play together is my favorite part. Besides spoiling all my neices and nephews...
Ummm... can I come stay at your house next? the goodie basket was awesome! (And the snackies... not so bad either!)
ReplyDeleteMaxwell is adorable. So glad he's home. What a wonderful Thanksgiving gift!
We had a fabulous time! Thanks so much for having Des and me and being such a wonderful hostess! We were both spoiled ROTTEN! Love you...see you in a month!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Maxwell is home he is precious. Also, I am impressed (and inspired) by your hostess skills. The food you baked looks delicious and the gifts you got are so sweet. well done! you're definitely a supermom.
ReplyDeleteJust stumbled across your blog, what adorable babies! I'm sure your SIL appreciated all the goodies too!
ReplyDeleteok so i know this is probably the most random question ever but... do you have any idea where they purchased their bed frame? Its exactly what I've been looking for!
ReplyDeleteSo happy the Max is home and doing well. God has definately done a miracle in that precious boy's life.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of Levi pointing his finger at Des, "Don't take my paci!" Also, the look on Levi's face after Des has taken the toy, "Look Mom, he did it again."
They all three are just adorable!!
I love the cousins getting to be together!!! Do they live close? My husband's sister has three children and all of our kids are around the same ages (one month apart, four months apart and the last two are 6 months apart).
ReplyDeleteSo much fun!!!
I literally laughed out loud when you said you birthed a giant. Is your hubs tall? Just from your pictures it looks like he his. My hubs is 6'4, and I'm 5'4, so I'm sure I'll have a giant baby one day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your adorable pics!
So happy to see Max at home!!! Finally!!!
ReplyDeleteBeatiful babies! Love the treats you have for your guests. What a terrific idea. These are my favorite posts when you show your wonderful hospitality.
ReplyDeleteYay for Max being home! What a great feeling. Levi is tall. My goodness! I love all the pics.
