My Best. And Our Kids.

Do you have the type of friend who you can not see in several months but when you get together or talk, you totally pick up exactly where you left off?

Well, that's how it is with my best friend. My best friend since the 6th grade. We have such a history together and the promise of a future. I love friends like her. She recently moved far far away from me, so the time that we spend together is sparse yet treasured. The other day, while I was at my Mom and Dad's she was in town too, and brought her little girl Ruthie Jane over.

She and Levi totally loved one another.




Levi: "Hey Baby, mind if I put my arm around you? I dig older chicks."
Ruthie: Mom, WHAT is this kid doing???





Levi: "Look Mom, I have a girlfriend. And she's a whole year older."
Ruthie: Girlfriend? Since when did I say I'd be his girlfriend?





Levi: Yup, we're in love. She can't resist my charming good looks.
Ruthie: Who is this kid?





Levi: "Let me comb your golden locks."
Ruthie: Where are his shoes?!





Ruthie: "Listen Little Guy, you move too fast for me. Didn't your Mom teach you to not put your arm around a girl on the first date?"
Levi: "Errr... no. I'm sorry."





Levi: "Can I hold your hand instead?"
Ruthie: *Sigh*





Ruthie: Maybe if I hide my hands he'll think I don't have any to hold!
Levi: She totally loves me.
