Last weekend, Husby and I loaded up Little Weebie, and set out to have The Perfect Autumn Day. The main event of the day was the pumpkin patch! We drove out to one, decided it was too commercial for what we had in mind (we wanted a real-pick-your-own-pumpkin farm!), so we kept driving and driving until we hit the perfect patch.
When we arrived, Husby strapped on the Baby Bjorn and I was nearly on the ground laughing. He hadn't figured out how to fold it over so Levi would have his arms free, so poor little Weebs was confined and at attention. It was hysterical.

Here he is saying, "HELP ME, MOM! DADDY DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS RIGHT!"

Meanwhile, I'm still in hysterics, laughing like a hyena.
Eventually, Levi thought it was funny, too.

After we got it all figured out, we set out on our little adventure.

We hopped on the hay ride, and they drove us out to the patch so we could pick our own! How exciting!

This is exactly what we had in mind. A real pumpkin farm with pumpkins still attached to and sprouting from the ground! It was absolutely beautiful.

There were apple trees lining the way, and the cool crisp air was just so refreshing!

One thing I realized right off the bat, is to make a mental note to NEVER wear high heel boots when visiting a pumpkin patch. It will make you sink. And make you mad.

After much hunting for the perfect pumpkin, both Husby and Weebie found beautiful ones.

After a while of pumpkin hunting, and picture taking, we jumped back on the tractor hay ride and headed back to the main land. There, we played some more!
I found these:

And this:

and I smiled at the down home, wholesome, family run operation. This is what small town America is truly all about.
Then I kissed this face.

We ventured over to Pumpkin Play Land and had a photo shoot with Mr. Weebs. He did so good, and we ended up with some great shots!
Here are some of my faves.

Then I took some pictures with my love. I realized a few weeks ago, that I am ALWAYS the one behind the camera. And while I have 1029381203810 pictures of Husby and Weebie together, I have a total of like 5 of me and Weebie. So I made Husby be Mr. Camera man and I taught Levi all about tiny pumpkins.
Since I am the expert.

By the end of it all, Levi was pretty tuckered out. To much fun for Weebie Bear!

But, we absolutely positively could NOT leave before Levi got his turn on the tractor.

Ride, Weebie, Ride!!
We capped the day off with dinner at P.F. Changs and a hot caramel apple cider from Starbucks. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day.
