If you know my husband at all, you know that he has an infatuation with Michael Jordan. He loves the man. If I didn't know better, I might think he liked him better than he likes me. Er, at least I think I know better.
The other night, ole M.J. himself was inducted into the Baksetball Hall of Fame.
Woopie. Let's all do high fives and cartwheels.
We got home from dinner, Husby whisked Levi off into the nursery and he came back a few minutes later with a fresh diaper and a new outfit.
A Jordan outfit.
*Sigh*
We all know my love for English 'Country Gentleman' outfits, so when I see things like this, I wince. But, I guess since Levi is 50% Husby, we have to even things out. Just to be fair.
Fair Shmair.
He hoisted Little Levi into his lap and began to tell him all about The Great Michael Jordan.
And Levi listened.
And watched.
At one point, he even craned his neck to see the TV better.
Oh, Husby, what are you doing to my Country Gentleman?
"Look at MY wingspan, Mommy!"
That's good, Little Levi. What long arms you have!
"Mommy, am I in trouble for watching Michael Jordan?"
No, Dearest Lamb. You are not in trouble. But always remember where you truly belong.

ReplyDeleteI guess I shouldn't tell you that i live 20 minutes from TBHOF and MJ was all over the place for the weekend. He was so great he posed for so many pictures!
ReplyDeleteFunny, I love it! So the other day I had a patient, and she said her father-in-law is first cousins with MJ!
ReplyDeleteMy husband made me watch that too. MJ belongs to my parents golf club here in Illinois so my husband thinks he knows MJ since they've hung out in the locker room a couple times after golf. He never talked to him, but he still thinks he's BFF's with him :)

ReplyDeleteWhat did they think about MJ's speech where he totally ripped into everyone he has known from his past? I don't keep up with MJ, but I was listening to the radio and they were talking about the ridiculous stuff he said in his speech and how bitter he sounded and they played a clip of it. What's UP with that? You've got Serena Williama, Kanye West, Michael Jordan, and that congressman. Crazy!!!!
