My Eleven Day Journey: Day Two

One day down - 10 to go.

Well, yesterday was a pretty tolerable day! Sure there were times when I just wanted a bowl of cereal (or a brownie fudge sundae), but I held out and stayed on track. Horray for me! There was one time where I mindlessly almost popped a few peanut M&M's in my mouth, but quickly caught myself and slapped my hand. I swear it has a mind of it's own. Something I realized about the day is my utter disgust for cottage cheese. I used to like it as a child, but as I tried a bite yesterday, it almost came back up. Seriously - gross. And scrambled eggs are definitely not my thing either, but I choked a few bites down.

Today is going to be interesting. Meals 1, 2 and 3 are all fresh fruit and meal 4 is a sandwich. I know I will probably be pretty ravenous by the time I get to eat my beloved sandwich, but in the mean time, I will be stuffing my face with fresh fruit. Mmmm. Grapes, oranges, peaches, raspberries, apples, plums....Husby snatched the last banana, but I think I'll survive.

Rumor has it that today is the hardest day of the diet, so I am pretty confident that if I can get through it, I can fly through the rest of it.

  18. I'm about to embark on my third round of this baby weight/baby weight loss thing. Just remember it took a long time to put the weight on so don't stress about getting it off too quickly. It will go, and meanwhile you can enjoy your baby. And, sorry to spoil all the fun and encouraging comments, but just be careful if you're nursing. You need to make sure you're getting enough calories ok? If you're not though, and you're not stressing out or feeling bad about yourself, then have fun eating lots of fruit! :) It sounds kind of good to me! I like pineapple tidbits with the juice on cottage cheese with walnuts on top. Are you allowed to substitute fruits? Probably not, but just an idea - something sweet and something crunchy makes the cottage cheese pretty good!

  19. I am SO impressed by your resolve! I started counting WW points on Monday and I'm already dying for a chocolate chip cookie. If I could only eat fruit all day I probably wouldn't make it past lunch!

  20. OMG good luck! I don't know if I could do that! Where did you find the meal plan and everything? I would like to do this or at least try and do this with my husband. It would take a tremendous amount of willpower and I'm just curious!

PS - I've been a lurker for awhile and recently started following you...I really enjoy reading your blog!
