I hope you all had a fantastical and relaxical Memorial Day weekend. :)
I, for one, had a great one. I ate entirely too many calories and laughed until my abs hurt. And that is really saying something because my abs are hidden pretty deep these days. With that combination of food and giggles, you are pretty much guaranteed a good time.
I found out at the end of last week that they set my induction date for June 6. At 5am. June 6 is in..... 11 days!!!!!
So. If Levi decides to not come on his own before then, and if my blood pressure stays at normal levels, I will definitely have a baby in 11 days. That does not even seem real. At all. Like....really. It has not set in, in the least!
I hope that he comes on June 2. I want him to come on his own so that I can do some laboring at home before I have to go to the hospital. But, I have left this entire pregnancy in the hands of the Lord and I am resting in the fact that He knows what is best for me, Husby and our sweet bundle of baby joy.
Praise GOD for His blessings, His timing and His sovereignty.
I covet your prayers during these last few days, my friends.
And now, it's back to the Doc to let them squeeze my arm and tinkle in a cup. I will not miss these visits.

ReplyDeleteJune 5 will be here so soon-- and Levi could be here before. I'll be praying for you. He'll arrive in style no matter what!
ReplyDeleteI have nevercommented before but just wanted to officially say I will be keeping you, your husband, and baby Levi in my prayes in the coming weeks! I will also be praying for a stable blood pressure for momma!!
ReplyDeleteI did have a post request....I LOVE your style and your baby style (especially your diaper bag - too cute!). So, I was wondering if you would be willing to do a post related to the big items (stroller, bassinet, etc.) that you have purchased for Levi. As a woman hoping to be a mommy soon it would be wonderful to see your picks!
We are still waiting for our firm c-section date, but at the latest it will be Monday, June 1. As in 6 DAYS AWAY! As in at the very latest, I will have a baby in LESS THAN A WEEK!

Keeping you in my prayers. Wow, 11 days ot less...so exciting!
ReplyDeleteJUne 2 is our Anniversary! I definately think he should come then! I can't wait for him to get here! I was telling Andy about you this weekend, and I said, I dont' think she's going to make it to the 6th!!! :D my bet is on June 2. You should do a poll!!!
ReplyDeleteHow did it come so soon? Didn't you just tell us that you were pregnant? It's weird to follow a "blogging buddy" through such a long period of time! But weird in a "I wouldn't have it any other way" type of thing. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for you! June 6 is right around the corner! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you - whenever he gets here, it will be the day God ordained from the very beginning of time. Relax, rest and enjoy the final days girl. (o:

ReplyDeleteIf you haven't watched the Business of Being Born yet, you might want to. I found it so empowering. Especially the quote about labor taking women to a wall they don't think they can, but they can and they do. It's so empowering.
ReplyDeleteGod made your body to push out your baby--you can do it!
Looking forward to baby pics.
Yay it's getting soo close..I'm soo excited for you and you hubs! :)
