Laying in bed.
Me groaning and wheezing as I try to roll over.
Husby laughing.
Me: I wish I had an empathy belly to strap on you.
Husby: I don't.
Me: I want to give you an empathy belly, an empathy back, empathy ankles, empathy feet and empathy legs.
Husby: No thanks. That doesn't sound very fun.
Me: I don't think you would be very empathetic. More like empathetic minus the em.
I'm feeling pretty empathetic minus the em these days. Just a few more weeks....

Aww you poor thing. Levi will be here before you know it!
ReplyDeleteAwe! I'm so sorry :-/
ReplyDeleteD could be like uncle Jesse with the "sympathy pad." Ha ha!
that's hilarious! hang in there!
ReplyDeleteJust think about it ... in a few weeks, you'll be able to lay on your stomach, wait four hours before going to the bathroom, and when you wake up in the night, it will be to rock your sweet baby. You can do it!!
ReplyDeleteYou can do it! :0) Only a few weeks and you'll see lil Levi :0)
ReplyDeleteYou can do it Whitney Dawn! How is your dad doing? Praying for you guys!
ReplyDeleteOK to VA's comment made me laugh...I think you should do an entire post on your Uncle Jesse love!
not too much longer!! hang in there!!
ReplyDeleteOh, you're soveryclose! You can do it. I can't wait to see you and your belly this weekend. I missed seeing you on Easter and everyone was saying how cute you were! :)
ReplyDeleteAww..I feel for ya honey! Soon you'll be holding little Levi in your arms and that will be the best feeling in the world!
ReplyDeleteHugz,
Michele
I am totally, 100%, without a doubt right there with you. I sit at my desk at work and the thought of getting up and walking all the way over to the copy machine is just too daunting. And at home, I really want to help with the cooking and cleaning more, but physically getting up off the couch is just out of the question. I'm officially through being pregnant.
ReplyDeleteHang in there! :)
hang in there my friend.. praying for you:) cant wait to see belly pics and levis room:) Praying for your dad too!!!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, you poor funny thing!
ReplyDeleteI tried to get my husband to go to a "Daddy Boot Camp" where they have to wear the empathy belly and learn to change diapers and things of that nature. I signed him up and everything, and he conveniently got the flu that day.
ReplyDeleteI swear he did it on purpose!
It's so worth it in the end. Hang in there!
I sometimes still have waves of the back pain I had while pregnant - Ick! Funny convo!!
ReplyDeleteOnly a few more weeks, Mommy! You can make it!! :)
ReplyDeleteHang in there during these last few weeks!
ReplyDeleteGOSH, I remember wanting to lay on my stomach and being SO excited when I could (I'm not even a stomach sleeper) and it was wonderous. These days seem like they take forever, but before you know it...well, you'll be holding his sweet little face.
ReplyDeleteYou rock girl, hang in there and I understand the "empathy" thing.
it's fun walking the journey with you...i'm due in 2 weeks and know JUST what you're feeling. That comment was hilarious! This is our 3rd baby and I too tell my honey that if only he could truly understand what i go through to bring these children into the world!!! It's worth it all, it really is! A favorite quote of mine, "the long term fulfillment far outweighs the short term sacrifice." AMEN!!
ReplyDeleteAs hard as it seems now...be sure to enjoy it, it will be over with new wonderful experiences to treasure!!
ReplyDeleteI hope this warm weather doesn't increase your discomfort too much!!
Thinking of you and your family!!
