On Saturday, there was a shower thrown for me in my hometown - where I grew up. I was surrounded by the most special people in my past, who have carried me to and remain with me in my present. Only my most precious friends were invited and I was truly humbled by the outpour of love shown on me and Levi that day. How wonderful it was to be in that house with everyone who means so much to me and that represented each stage of my life from birth to college! I even had one friend drive 2 hours, another drive 3 and another drive 4 hours to be there for me! It really meant a lot that so many friends, everyone in attendance - not just the ones who drove a long distance, took time out of their relaxing Saturday to celebrate my growing family. I am blessed beyond measure.
Here are some pictures! My fabulous hostesses put so much thought into every detail. It was beautiful! (And I made myself a note to remember my camera this time!!!!!! Plus multiple texts from Mom!)

Look at these cakes! They were all different sizes - the big one representing Husby, the middle one representing me and the little one representing Levi. How sweet!

These were the party favors. They were little buckets with gardening gloves and flower seeds. How presh!

A dear friend made this fun-tastic diaper cake! I loved it!

Among many things that I have learned throughout this pregnancy, one thing that I have been most humbled by is realizing what fantastic people God has placed in my life. My Church here in town and the friendships formed there are an answer to prayer and a huge blessing. I thank God for them! The prayers they have all poured out on Levi's behalf are invaluable.
My friends back home are not like family - they ARE family, and they never fail to let me know that they are my "forever friends" - going with me wherever I go. They too, have covered my entire pregnancy in prayer and encourage me daily.
The precious and perfect showers that both sets of these people threw for my babe means more to me than I could ever possibly relay to them. Like I said, I am truly humbled.
I can't wait to tell Levi one day, of all the wonderful people who have done so much for him. What a blessed little boy he already is.
