33 Weeks!

“You look tired, Whitney!”

“I am.”

“You look swollen, Whitney!”

“I am.”

“Your stomach is huge, Whitney!”

“I know.”

“You look pitiful, Whitney!”

“Hmmm, thanks.”

This pregnancy “glow” is rapidly fading, guys. In fact, I think we’ve hit a black out!!

I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  15. Why do people say that stuff? They should really think about it before they speak. When I was pregnant I told a good friend of mine who doesn't have kids yet what not to say to a pregnant woman and she said that she tried to always play it safe by saying, "You look beautiful." So I will say, "You look beautiful." So take it as a compliment and don't let your mind wander to the many reasons why you think you don't. :) Happy Friday!

  18. Yeah, there comes a point, if you're not already there, where someone will say something and it will cross your mind, "did they just say that to me??" and you will seriously have the urge to punch them. LOL.

  26. Welcome to the end of your pregnancy - the place where sleep is impossible to find, bellies are larger than humanly possible, and tempers flair like hot cakes.

  27. Hey there Whitney. My cousin Lauren sent me a link to your blog. She said you are SO funny! :) I just love that Lauren. Anyway, as the mommy of 3, I totally feel your pain my dear! Hang in there, it won't be long! And YES, people deliver big babies every day. My son was 9 lbs, and we did just fine. I always dreamed of being a stay at home mom and housewife too, and now I am! It's mostly good! :) I can say this, that first two years, of being the mom of just one baby, and keeping the house, and shopping, and baking, and decorating...they were pure bliss! Enjoy my dear!
