Merci.

I just want to THANK YOU for the wonderful encouragement I receive from so many of you in comments and in e-mails.  So many of you have reached out in big ways as you follow my little family in this little blog.  I treasure each kind word spoken and each prayer whispered on behalf of us.

You don't even know us, but you read ... and you listen ... and you care!

You've encouraged me through two pregnancies, navigating motherhood, enduring medical school and residency, maintaining my sanity :), and now through this big move that we have before us.  I just want to thank you for not telling me what I'm supposed to do, or how I'm supposed to feel about any of my situations, but for encouraging.  That, to me, is invaluable.

I think it's absolutely amazing how God can use a complete stranger across the nation or even down the road to uplift and encourage another believer.

I don't say it enough ... but thank you.

  2. I really like your blog. Thanks for sharing! I wanted to share that the book "Desperate" was really encouraging to me during these past 4 years as we've lived away from family during medical school and I have had my daughter (now 19 months). I'm hoping that in just a few months at Match Day we will hear that we are moving closer to our home and grandparents, but if not, I trust in God's story for us. It honestly helps to even read blogs like yours and others' during my little one's naptime for inspiration!
