Year 5.

Husby and I have a lot of decisions and unknowns we are facing right now concerning where we will be next year for his Fellowship, and you know how decisions and unknowns are ... stressful!  We know that God has it all laid out for us and resting in that is the only thing that gives us peace.  But sometimes you just need to break away from the routine, get away, and forget your reality for a little bit.  And for me, there is no better place to do that than my parents house.

Every year my Mom and I venture over to Northwestern Arkansas, through the mountains and down the curvy roads, to a craft fair in the most beautiful location.  It's so much fun and always gorgeous!  It was last week so since Husby had work and a football game to work Thursday night (he's the team doc for a local football team), the boys and I headed down to my parents house for some relaxation and fun!

My Dad's birthday was this weekend, so while we were there Thursday night, he requested and she cooked a giant chicken dinner that just so happens to be my very favorite meal in all the world.

You guys, it was To. Die. For.!

I mean, really?  She's the best cook in the entire world.  Absolutely exploding with flavor!  I ate my weight in that gravy.

I died and went to carb heaven.

Absolutely amazing!  I don't know what her secret is to such fabulous food.  Good grief!

The next morning we woke up and headed to War Eagle!

Dad's never been out there with us, but now that he takes Friday's off, he came this year!

If you've been reading this blog for any length of time, you probably remember all of our trips to War Eagle.  This was our 5th year going and it was so much fun, as usual!

We take a yearly pic in front of this barn.  It's so much fun going back and seeing all the years!  The boys are just growing like crazy!

It's an outdoor fair, filled with booths of all sorts of different things.  Lots of food vendors, music, and all kinds of little things that you don't see anywhere else.  The boys have fun finding unique little toys.  Levi especially loved his marshmallow gun this year. :)

And Ezra is obsessed with his duck!

The more simplistic the toy, the more fun they have with it.  Too funny!

We had some yummy, greasy food!

And the boys had some fun sugary snacks!

It was a wonderful day to relax, breathe the crisp mountain air, and make wonderful memories!

Our 5th year was just as magical as the first! :)
