Weebie Wednesday: Hodge Podge & Videos

Things I don't want to forget.

I was singing Party in the USA as we drove down the road.
Levi: Oh, I like that song, Mommy.
Me: You do?
Levi: Yes. Who sings that song?
Me: Her name is Miley Cyrus.
Levi: Ohhhh ... I like her. She's pretty.
(He does not have an inkling of an idea of who Miley Cyrus is. Thank goodness. I will do my best to keep it that way.) :)

He also tells me that Princess Pea from Super Why is "so pretty", too.

Levi: Look, Mommy! A cross!
Me: Oh, yes. It's a telephone pole that does look like a cross.
Levi: Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
Me: He sure did, Levi. Because He loves us.
Levi: Yes. He died so that we can go to Heaven. He died .... but now he's back to normal.

He was singing "Lady and the Tramp" to the tune of "Benny and the Jets". La-la-la-lady and the tramp. HA!

He was trying to open the front door and he couldn't get it open. He walked up to me and said, "it's no use". It cracks me up when he uses terms like that.

Here's a little video of him while we were waiting in the car one day last week. I just never want to forget these precious moments!

And here he is a couple weeks ago singing a song Glam*Ma taught him, "My Daddy is a Superman". He is a little congested and had an ear infection and we were on our way home from the doctor. He sang this song 20,130 times that week. Maybe more.

He's a Love Button!
I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  3. Have you posted before on how you teach Levi scripture and maybe I just missed it? I'm so impressed!! I had my husband listen to that clip and he was equally impressed. We want to help our children hide God's Word into their little hearts! What approach do you take?
