The Christmas Snitch!

Husby and I always get each other a gift from one another and a smaller gift to each other "from Levi". The other day, Weebie and Daddy dropped me off at the mall while they went on the hunt for my gift. When we met back up, I whisked Levi off and asked for some hints. The results were hysterical.

His Daddy trained him well to tell me that it was a surprise. His Daddy knows me too well and knew I'd probably ask.

Sit back, relax, grab a Coke and enjoy the show!

My sweet little angel! HAHA!

My favorite is when he slips and tells me it's slippers and then says, "No! A surprise! It's a surprise!" :) A few days later we were driving down the road and he said, "Mommy, Daddy bought you slippers, but I told you it was a surprise."

Husby: Note to self - DO NOT TELL LEVI WHAT HE GOT MOMMY FOR CHRISTMAS! Hahahahahaha! I love it!

Oh, and that evening as I gloated over knowing my gift and talking incessantly about my slippers, we came home and tore the house apart looking for some medicine for Levi. Wouldn't you know Husby looked in a spot that he has never once looked at in our entire 4 years of living in this house AND FOUND THE PRESENT THAT "LEVI" GOT FOR HIM! I was furious.

I guess what goes around comes around! ;)

  1. Oh that had me laughing! Poor guy, he was doing so well but you broke him down. Little boys don't stand a chance against their mamas. ;)

  9. So very cute! You, Ms. Whitney, are relentless! I don't blame Levi one bit for spilling the beans after all that pressure! Just kidding! But on another note...I expected your voice to be much more high pitched and twangy than it is. Isn't it funny how we can have "expectations" of what a person is like solely based on reading their blog? Merry Christmas to your adorable little family!

  16. Last year I tried to buy Brad season tickets to the Florida Gators football games for Father's Day, at the time we had an "off to the side" checking account that he NEVER looked in, so I funneled money into that account and then paid for the tickets. Wouldn't you know, THE DAY AFTER I paid for them, he went in that account looking for a check number, and saw the check I'd paid for the tickets with.
