Thanksgiving: Take Two!

We spent Thanksgiving at my grandma's house and that evening at my other grandparents house. I had three Thanksgiving dinners in 24 hours. Aye yi yi! I'm sure the scales will reflect that at my doctor's appointment this week. :) It was a great time and filled with special family moments. Especially when grandma gathered up the four of us grandkids and gave us our special Norman Rockwell figurines that she collected while we grew up. Each time we were all together, each of us got to "pick one out" and write our names on the bottom of them to claim as our own. It was neat seeing which ones we picked out all those years ago.

The next day, my parents took us all to Branson, Mo. to see the Christmas lights and take the boys to Silver Dollar City. We had a blast! Levi absolutely loved everything we did and at the end of each day, he ran up to Glam*Ma and said, "That was so fun, Glam*Ma!" :) He's such an appreciative little thing.

I love this time of year with all the fun family traditions. There's just nothing like it!
I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  4. Oh what fun! :)

I"m thankful that your first Thanksgiving as hostess went well.

I love the top you have on and think that your mom and you are just precious together.

And I truly think that Levi is an amazing boy. He learns his appreciation by witnessing it.

And I truly think that is the biggest cookie, I"ve EVER seen.
