A Special Friendship.

(Last week, Weebie and I went with my parents to Market in Dallas, Texas. While Mom and I spent one whole day at Market, Dad took Levi on a little adventure.)

(And then Levi wrote a poem about it.)

(Yes, he's extremely gifted.)

**

Grandpa's bring adventure wherever they go. They are friends with fun animals that were born long ago.

"Meet Mr. Elephant", my ol' Grandpa said. "Why hello there Weeb!" he responded in my head.

Grandpa's show you new things that Mommy's do not. They give you little guns, just to give it a shot!

My Grandpa tells the best stories, especially at night. He makes sure that they're funny and never cause a fright.

He tells me of hobbits and adventure galore. When he's finished with his stories, I'm left wanting more!

We have lots of inside jokes, my Grandpa and me. I am so happy he's part of my big family.

Grandpa's bring lots of love and make the best friends. When I'm with my Grandpa, the fun never ends!

  7. It is so fun to see your dad in this new role. I love the poem and the pictures. What a treasure grandparents are. I am reminded often of how Katie has missed out on that special relationship, having no grandparents.
