We all have those material things in life that we consider our "weakness". When we see it, we must have it, even though we may have more than enough at home. For me, my weakness is DISHES. I can't get enough of them. I love them, collect them, stare at them, decorate with them, entertain with them, kiss them every night.... ;) You get the point. I love dishes!
So today, in honor of my weakness, I'm giving away a set of 4 salad plates from Pottery Barn. They are blue and white, and just adorable!
You can use them at the table or use them for decor. Either way, they're just presh.

Weakness = Super Target! I will go in for just some minor shopping, and rack up a bill over $100! That is weakness! lol!
I have to agree on the dishes thing. It's really getting out of control and I don't have room for many more - but I'm pretty sure I could handle 4 more. (-: Most home things - I'm pretty bad at that. (-:

My weakness is, hands down, stationary! I have BOXES of stationary that hasn't been used. Ahhh I love pretty paper! :) :) I have told myself I cannot buy anymore stationary until I am regularly writing notes and putting them in the mail. I dunno if that day will EVER come! haha
Pocketwatches! And the proper pens and paper (Jetstream RT and Moleskine's...)...
Lately I have had a weakness for cardigans. I have at least two in every possible color and yet I still continue to shop for them. I'm worse than Mr. Rogers!

I would have to say without a doubt my weakness is baby gear. I have more strollers, baby carriers, and baby toys than I care to admit :)

This may sound redundant for a lot of women but my weakness is SHOES. The problem with shoes is that they always look good on - its not like an outfit that may work and may not. Shoes always look good on! So I buy them and buy them and buy them!
Oh my goodness -- too many to count! I guess my biggest weakness is going to Target. I run in for one thing and end up with a cart full. Sometimes I try not to take a cart and I end up with my hands completely full of stuff, dropping it everywhere. I am that person...
Another weakness would be any kind of cupcake -- I just can't say "no" (and I don't really want to!)

oh my goodness.... my weakness... is... candles. i cannot buy enough!!! and then i seem to run out of places to put them in the house (you can only have so many chunky 2-foot candlestick pillars as decorations in corners of your living room before it starts to look like a creepy halloween house) so i use them outside and scare my husband bc he thinks i'm going to burn something down one day! sigh, i cannot live without the scrumptous smells.

My weakness...baking! I bake when I'm stressed, when I'm happy, when I'm hungry, it doesn't matter. I love to try out new recipes, which leads to my second weakness...kitchen utensils. You can never have too many wooden spoons or mixing bowls! Or sprinkles, for that matter!

LOVE the plates!
I love cardigans...they're my newest weakness. I wear them with just about everything at work (it makes sense as it's typically super cold). Chris thinks it makes me look like a librarian...which works as I love books & would be psyched to have my own library in my house one day.
I am also afflicted by a weakness for dishes. I love love love china.
I also have a huge weakness for glassware, as our overflowing cabinet attests. I have a "thing" about having the proper glass for any drink/situation, which means I am up to my ears in every size and shape of drinkware imaginable.
Second weakness: surveys. Yes...surveys. Whether it's online, at a restaurant, a department store, or just a made up facebook survey, I can't help myself! I LOVE doing them. Chris also makes fun of me for that. Whenever we leave a restaurant & comment cards are available, he'll try to avert my eyes so I don't see it.

I've never been able to control myself when it came to buying shoes and purses. But then my baby girl came along and now none of that really matters anymore. Her smile is my weakness!

I totally have a weakness when it comes to bookstores. I do love libraries, but it's simply not the same as OWNING the books! :)
Sheesh. I don't even know which weakness to choose! I LOVE excerise clothes, jeans, camera lenses, and anything from Target. Those are just a few of my major weaknesses :)
I would definitely have to say purses! I have Coach, Vera, Dooney, ones from Wal-Mart, Target, anywhere! Seriously I think my husband is about over my purse obsession!

COOKIES! I could give Cookie Monster a run for his money. It doesn't even matter how full I am.
And how cute would some chocolate chip cookies be on those precious plates? With a glass of milk? Yum!
Right now my biggest weakness is food. Sweet, salty, spicy, ethnic. It doesn't matter I just want food. (I'm dieting if you can't tell ~ LOL).
My all time weekness is handbags. If I find one I want I have to have it and won't rest until I do. :)

Candles. I or any make home smell good item (Fabreeze plug ins, reed diffusers, etc). I have about 500 billion different candles because I find a scent I LOVE and then buy a ton of them--rarely using them because then they will run out!!! Case in point, I stil have pumpkin spice candles from last fall. i saw the exacct same candles getting stocked at the store this week. Terrible!

I have a serious weakness for cute address books. I buy them yet I continue to use the same ratty old address book. I never throw old books away even after I buy a new book. I find pleasure in searching through the assortment of address books in every book store I visit.

Totally fabric. I am forever buying piles of fabric with the intention of making curtains, or pillows, or clothes, or quilts, or whatever. Some of which happen (just made some totally cute roman shades for the kitchen). Yes, this makes me about 10 decades older than I am.

My weakness is BASKETS! I mean, wicker, wooden, fabric, whatever...I love them! If I can "containerize" something in baskets, then I will! If I can label them, even better! They look so neat, and I do not have one room in my house without at least two...even the hallway. They are an ADDICTION! Lol...
I do have a thing for dishes...really anything kitchen...utensils, coffee and tea mugs, bowls...they fancy up any kitchen so much!
Actually, my weakness is the same as yours! I love dishes -- especially old ones at thrift stores! My mom and I shop in Cape Cod for great finds :) This year I got a set of china for $10!!! Woohhoo! Love those pottery barn dishes.
My weakness would have to be all the "Simple Little Things" in life that money cant buy like Hugs Affection and the love of family and friends. They just make life beautiful and worth living. My weakness is anything to do with photography. I have way too many cameras and way too many accessories for my cameras. I take too many pictures and buy way too much scrapbooking supplies to scrap all the memories I capture in a photo. But my new obsession has been plates. My hubby doesn't understand why anyone would need more than one set!
My weaknesses... oh, too many to count! My top two would have to be anything from Anthropologie (that store just lures me in!), and goooood food. I just love shopping at delicious foodie grocery stores like Whole Foods or Central Market. Of coure our grad school budget doesn't permit it on a regular basis, but I sneak in there when I can! Those plates would be gorgeous for a cheese course or a fresh tomato salad!
my weakness...bowls. i know it sounds weird, but in a kitchen store, antique store, any store actually, i'm immediately drawn to the bowls. we have more than we need at home, so i'm not allowed to buy any more, but i still look at them and hold them and wish they were mine. :)
My weakness lately is overpriced organic foods! I love trying out different health foods from Whole Foods!
Mrs. Bairds powered sugar doughnuts. But it has to be the ones in the resealable bag. HEAVEN! I could eat the entire bag!

Cupcakes! I must say cupcakes are my weakness. I love to bake them, eat them, and admire their cuteness.
I will bake a batch of cupcakes just because, well because they are my weakness. This morning I am baking banana cupcakes with chocolate cream frosting. Yummy!

My weakness - internet shopping. J.Crew cardigans from my couch? Heavenly. Tory Burch flats from my desk? A wonderful break in my day. Ordering up a pair of Kate Spade pumps from my Blackberry in a bar? Why not?(Yes, I actually did this. I have issues, I know.) It's definitely a weakness, but one I'm not trying too hard to fix!

Sorry I'm late, don't know if I made it on time. My weakness is pens. I love pens, all kinds of pens, I truly believe I am the reason the bank started putting chains on their pens because I always seem to have a purse full of pens. My favorites are the pentel fine line and the fine sharpies, but I pretty much love any pen. I am an artist of sorts, and love to doodle on everything (but I wouldn't doodle on those beautiful dishes), but I would probably copy the pattern on one of my calligraphies. Anyway, there you go, I have come clean on my "pen love".

I absolutely love reading your blog. My 12 year old daughter reads over my shoulder and always asks "how is Levi today Mom?" Our absolute favorite are your video's so please make and post more, we love how you talk to Levi, it is so "presh" as you would say.
My Weakness if - Shelley Tea Cups. They are the prettiest tea cups you have ever seen. They are vintage so you find them at antique stores, but when I find one I go weak in the knees.

So many weaknesses!! After I saw those plates, I may have a new weakness...
A big one for me is Vera Bradley. Love it so much. I just wish it wasn't so expensive...
A smaller one would be Starbucks. I can never pass it up. Unless, of course, I have absolutely no money. =)

I love to buy picture frames. Even though i have a lot i find a frame and think "i have the perfect picture to put in there!" Or even "i'll find the perfect picture to put in there!" =)
My weaknesses are beauty products and items on sale/clearance. And I get weak in knees when I find beauty items on sale!!!
