I know many of you follow me on Instagram, so you see the day-to-day doings of me and my little family, but I often get e-mails requesting an update here on the ole blog, so I thought I'd pop in and say hello! (If you're interested in the Instagram thing, my name is whit_neenee - I post daily and stories are my favorite.)
Since I typically only come here to write about major life events, I couldn't let the boy's birthdays pass without documenting it here. After all, I have every single one of their birthdays right here on this blog. Why stop now?

We had one big joint shebang this year since Ezra has an April birthday and Levi's in in May. The theme was Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and was an absolute blast! They both said this was the best birthday yet, and hearing that made me so happy because planning it was my favorite. We just had so much fun with all of it!

Levi has loved Willy Wonka since he was 2 years old, so it's always been in the back of my mind to do this party eventually. When Ezra started to love it too, I knew it was time! We watched the movie many times for inspiration and pretty much memorized all the songs. We love Willy Wonka!

Each child received a Golden Ticket inviting them to the Levi & Ezra's Chocolate Factory. And somehow I don't have a photo of it on my computer. (I know there's one on my Instagram!)

Ezra turned 5, and Levi turned 8. I can hardly even believe it! Remember when they were newborns and I blogged about baby stuff all the time? What is happening?! You guys, they are the neatest little people. I just love them so much and who they are becoming. But really ... why do they have to keep growing?

We had the party at our church's Family Life Center, rented a giant inflatable slide, a big bounce house, and had chocolate and candy everywhere. Every kid's dream, right?

There was one golden ticket hidden under one chair at each of the 5 tables. Whoever won the golden tickets got to choose one of the oversized candies to take home!

Everyone partied, played, jumped, screamed, laughed, and ate sugar to their hearts content.

That's a success in my book!

This was such a fun party! I showed all your pictures to my boys and now they want a Willy Wonka party too. SO much fun! (o:
