Weebie Wednesday: Memory Verses!

One of my new year's resolutions was to memorize more Scripture throughout the year, and to teach Levi a new memory verse/passage every other week. Here is a peek into last week's verse, Proverbs 3:5-6.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

When I whip the video camera out, he starts SPEED talking and I can't get him to slow down. The first video is a slow (normal) version and the second one is his speed reciting. He's a mess!

I pray that he will always hide God's Word in his heart and is able to recall these truths through all different circumstances of his precious little life.

  6. Hi. I was encouraged to see your early start and focus on Scripture Memory with Levi. My favorite tool for this age is the NIV Kids Club DVDs which also use the 1984 NIV you are using and actually have a great catchy song for PROVERBS 3:5-6 and 40+ other passages.

    When he gets older you might want to consider the National Bible Bee for 7-18 year olds.

    My favorite website for mutual encouragement, tips and inspiration in treasuring God's Word is www.memverse.com We would love you to join us there.

    May God bless you and your family as you focus on Him.
