On a Tuesday Night.

Phew! The holidays are over and life is slowly regaining some sense of normalcy again. I was so ready to tear down the decorations this year and get the place back to it's regular state that we got them down and up in the attic the day after we got home. I can never truly enjoy the decorations for knowing I have to take them down. Is that weird? Probably. But I feel like it's looming over my head! Anything looming over a pregnant ladies head is too much. The relief of having things back to normal is so nice.

Today was the first day Levi and I were back in our routine and it was weird. I kind of felt like I didn't know what to do! After a full week of running and busying and always having something new to do, it was strange to just stay home and fall back into our old ways. Levi watched Super Why and was beyond thrilled. With the constant entertainment of grandparents and cousins, he never even asked to watch a show for over a week, so it was extra exciting today!

The laundry is caught up.
The gifts and clothes are put away.
The pantry and ice box are stocked.

Life is back to normal.

And hopefully, my blogging will be back to normal. It was so nice to get away from the web and social media all week, so it's a little difficult trying to get back in the swing of sitting down to blog. But, I will make time for it because it's that time of the year when I print last year's blog posts into a book, and it always makes me so happy that I document life. So document, I will do!

And y'all can stay along for the ride. This is going to be one exciting year!!!

Now time to go take a bath with all my delicious Lush products (holla at the bath bombs!), and curl up with my Nook. And Husby. He's home in the evenings now for the first time in almost 3 months. Loving it! :)

Goodnight, sleep tight!! XO

  1. Enjoy this time with your sweet family! I know how excited you must be with your husband able to spend more time at home. I took it for granted until my husband got a job 3 hours away. Oh how I do treasure our weekend time together!

  4. My blog has been so prolific this past year that I've had to split my blog books up into three. Ridiculous, I know, but necessary to capture the memories forever! Just out of curiosity, who do you use to print your books?

  5. I definitely know what you mean about the decorations! Also, when I put mine up this year, I was pregnant so all I could think about was "How am I going to have time to get these down with a newborn?" But, I managed and they are down. Sounds like you had a wonderful relaxing evening last night--you deserve it! :)
