Christmas Eve.

Husby lucked out and got the week of Christmas off, so we were able to spend a couple of days with my family before Christmas and a couple of days with his family after Christmas. It worked out perfect and we had ample time to spend with everyone - not something we usually get the luxury of during residency. It was a big blessing.

Here are some pictures of the time spent with my family!

We had so much food that night. We always do snack foods and we had: cheese, sausage and crackers, hot bread dip, jalapeno dip, cookie ball, cheeseball and cheesy potato soup. It was delightful!

This picture will always make me laugh because as soon as I snapped it my brother said, "since when do we get romantic on Christmas Eve?" HA! I love the picture though!

  7. Those two are adorable in their matching PJ's. I'm always so jealous of everyone that has family with kids their kids age! Peanut is the first baby in the family.
