Intercession.

One of my best friends from college, Lindsey, has battled breast cancer twice in the past three years (beginning just a few months after getting married). She has overcome poor diagnosis after another, remained faithful to the Lord and fought through with great victory and beat the odds. Twice.

Early monday morning she began having seizures. When they got to the hospital they found a brain tumor on her right frontal lobe. She will have surgery Wednesday to remove it.

Please, please pray for Lindsey.

She knows Who holds her and is resting in the promise of the Lord. She is truly an incredible lady who has faith like I've never seen before.

You can also join her Facebook group page to get updates and help pray for her.

Thank you, friends.

  1. Incredibly sad and terrifying, but she sounds like a strong woman who can face this challenge just like she has the others and come through. My thoughts are with her and her family.

  2. That is awful and so sad. I will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers, Whitney. Please keep us updated on her situation. Like Jen at Cabin Fever said, she seems like a very strong woman and one who is going to beat the odds. If it will make you feel any better, my grandmother who was in her late 70's had a brain aneursym and had to have surgery. It was the size of a grapefruit and she came through with flying colors. God is watching over your friend, and with her faith and his gentle hand, she will pull through - I have faith! :) Big big hugs to you and your friend. xoxoxo
