I've Always Wanted To Know...

Hello Friends!

Another Monday has arrived and I thought it would be the best day to ask some questions. I get a lot of hits on this site every day, and though not all of you always comment, I know you're out there based on my site meter. (Thanks for reading, Loves!)

So, today I would love for ALL of you to answer these questions with a few simple clicks, just so I can get a better understanding of all of you lovely people out there interested in my little corner of the world.

Because I'm definitely interested in YOU, too! :)

(Christian - meaning Protestant Christian. I forgot to clarify that. But here I am....clarifiying.) :)

Thanks for playing! Now I kind of feel like we're all BFF. ;)
I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  5. I'm a 25-year old Buddhist, married homemaker, working with my husband in building our own non-profit (so not exactly gainfully employed, but not quite a housewife). No kids yet, but we hope to adopt. I am currently revamping and resurrecting my blog. We live in California and I looooove Asian food! Indian, Thai and Japanese are my top faves. So many gluten-free and vegetarian options in those cultures. <3

I have been lurking around your blog for a while and meaning to comment. I absolutely love your warm, friendly voice, your advice and how open you are to sharing your experiences and your photography. I hope your heart is blessed today.

  9. That was a fun little post. I thought it was really interesting how it's all ladies reading your blog! I voted that I work outside the home with kids, but I actually only work two days a week...but there wasn't a category for part time work. I consider myself more of a sahm, but I do work a bit too! And I have one and a half kiddos (one more on the way!).

  10. I'm a 33 year old Christian (Anglican), stay at home wife and mother of three (ages 5, 4 and 1). I live in the UK, love to blog my family life and love traditional English fare and German food. 14. This was a fun idea! i expected there to be more moms reading your blog, and i felt out-of-place not being a mom yet. It was neat to see that i'm not the only non-mom reading. And also that the majority of us like Mexican food best!

  16. Haha ... what a great procrastination tool! :)

Can you please do these to coordinate with my test schedule so that I can feel productive whilst blog reading ... even if it is only answering a simple survey?

  17. I wanted you to know that I choose all of the above for fave foods. How am I supposed to choose between a juicy cheeseburger and fries, enchiladas, or ravioli? The choice is just too much for me this morning! But I picked Italian because at this moment, that's what I would pick if forced at knife point.

  18. I'll admit, I am one of those who is not so good at leaving comments. I'll try to be better! I'm 40 years old and I live in Southern California. I have 3 children, ages 15, 14 and 11. I have done child care in my home for the last 13 years. I have a blog, but I am not so diligent about posting on it. Again, something I need to work on! I cam e across your blog and loved it instantly. I think the first post I read was about your makeup case! Although I am significantly older, I am very much a girly girl and I enjoy reading your blog!
    Have a super day!!

  19. I am one of your "outside the US readers," (living/working in the Middle East right now) but I am just a small town girl from the US. Reading your blog has really helped me get my fix of home & American family life on days when I am really missing it. Thanks for all uplifting posts.

  20. West is just not the same thing as the Northwest. Also for kids I picked one since there wasn't an "on the way" choice.

  21. This is really interesting to see! I must say, though, I was surprised that Judaism was not even on there! Just because I am deeply religious and don't like to be lumped in with "none":) Have a wonderful day:)

  32. I had to think a bit on the religion one since I'm Mormon, but we're Christians too! But I figured since the Catholics are listed separately as well then I was intended to choose Mormon. :)
