Meaning I just want it to feel like another extension of the overall feel of the house. You know, same color palette and hues, just modified for baby. I'm not into cartoon characters or extremely bright colors, so that's off the list.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys did!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13778738125321483117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189821419772726959.post-90327565189756206462009-04-07T00:19:00.000-05:002009-04-07T00:19:00.000-05:00"Dee-Bye" How cute! I love it, especially if it's what I'm picturing from your post last year when you went to market. (I think I might take another peek...)

My kids' nurseries were less than ideal, but my stepmom bought them decorations for their rooms when they got older. The girls' room is yellow with flowers and butterflies all over, while Caden's room is a train theme. We have had them decorated like that for several years now, but I still get a lot of compliments, especially on Caden's. I love also that they won't be growing out of them anytime soon. I highly doubt we'll do a theme--I'm very economical (read: cheap) and in theory, I would want something that could be re-used for a boy or a girl, etc. Of course, I'm sure that when I am pregnant, I'll want to do a real fancy nursery for a boy or a girl, but, I realize that it's probably just not in the cards for us financially. Our guestroom (future baby room) is blue and yellow, so, I think those colors would work for a baby at some point! The Shabby Princesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08572623388995262210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189821419772726959.post-4726009569021169292009-04-06T10:03:00.000-05:002009-04-06T10:03:00.000-05:00Oh yes, gotta love nursery themes!
