But it stopped working for her at about 5ish months and then it took me about 2 weeks to admit that I had to surrender to a routine. We're getting the hang of it now, and her afternoon naps sometimes go up to 3 hours. To answer your question though, I do almost the same as you...work around the house, work on my blog, read other blogs, find something for lunch...whatever strikes my fancy.Rebecca @ The Reluctant Housewifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17320794861768636373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189821419772726959.post-15407617756115267412011-01-24T09:06:55.768-06:002011-01-24T09:06:55.768-06:00If I am blessed with a free hour or two during the...If I am blessed with a free hour or two during the day (all three kids asleep- yes!!!) I almost never do chores. I choose instead to do something I enjoy, such as read my book, hulu, read blogs, etc. Since the rest of the day is spent doing chores and such, I take full advantage of nap time to chill out. Now when she goes to bed before mommy I use that time to catch up on blogs, write a blog, read or crochet, or some combination. I want SO badly for Case's nap time to be when I dive into my Bible but more often than not I end up wasting this time reading blogs, facebooking, emailing or some other thing that should clearly come secondary to my devotional time. I also have high hopes to use this time to work but that rarely happens either:-( So for all you Christians, when do you find devotional time? I SO want to figure this out and become better at it!Bev Johnstonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13851926735190102852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189821419772726959.post-82908196189310338572011-01-20T16:10:42.024-06:002011-01-20T16:10:42.024-06:00Normally I try to strike a balance between getting...Normally I try to strike a balance between getting things done (cleaning, ironing, cooking/baking, etc.) and getting some 'down time' with a book or the computer.
