Buzz & Woody Birthday Bash : Details!

The boys have birthdays a month apart - one in April and one in May.  With everything we have going on in our lives right now, I thought a joint birthday party would be the best route to go this year.  I didn't want to do it, but the more I thought about it, the better (and easier!) it sounded.  All of Levi's buddies have siblings Ezra's age, which are all his little friends - so if I did two parties it would be all of the same people at both parties just a few weekends apart, so we did one big birthday bash at The Little Gym for them and we had SO much fun! It will also be the last time they were all together in one place before we move.  I'm so happy we did it!

I asked Levi and Ezra what they wanted their party theme to be and Levi suggested, "Buzz and Woody", and that each boy could represent a character.  How absolutely PERFECT!  I think my love for party planning is rubbing off on that little boy. :)

Levi wanted to be Woody and Ezra wanted to be Buzz.  I laughed because that fits each of their personalities to a T! It was super fun to plan, and then when I arrived, all I had to do was slap everything together and then they took care of all the activities.  Loved it!

Even though it was at The Little Gym, I still wanted it to be cute. So I got to do everything I would typically do at home.  Party City and Etsy were my main party sites, so if you see anything you like, that's probably where I got it.

A lady at Husby's clinic made the cakes and didn't she just do a fabulous job?  I was seriously impressed!  I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she nailed it.  I was very happy!

One of my best friends lives over 4 hours away....but she makes the best sugar cookies in life.  No, seriously.  They do not EVEN compare to any I have ever had.  I begged and bribed her and guilted her into making our cookies (but you've never made any for Ezra, and you did for Levi!!), and I am SO happy she did.  People even recognized their taste from Levi's 2nd birthday party and freaked out when they realized who made them.  Seriously, they are gold.  Pure GOLD.

She, too, nailed it.  Exactly what I wanted!

So festive and colorful.  I love Buzz & Woody!

The favor table was super fun, too.  The kids flipped!  They each got a lunchpail, a backpack filled with goodies, a Hershey bar, and a Buzz mask.

Here is what was inside the backpacks!

  1. Absolutely precious, Whitney!! I love it all! My boys have already told me that they want a joint buzz and woody party next year. We just love those guys. Little Gym parties are so much fun, and I agree! Why not get in there and decorate it up? You made it so special and so fun!
