The Trees!

Our Old World family tree.

I think they need to have a "Christmas Tree" setting on cameras.  They're SO HARD to get right.

Weirdly enough, I feel like this photo taken with my iPhone more accurately captures the true look of our tree!

This tree is so special to our family because it is loaded with ornaments that represent us.  From engagement rings, to brides and grooms, churches and nativities, first home, pacifiers, baby carriages - to spiderman, cameras, purses, bicycle jersey, robots, dump trucks, world landmarks and more ... this tree tells a story.  The story of us.

Our 2012 ornament is this, which represents our lovely little boys.

And since we have a fake (prelit!) tree, I burn this for the feel of a real tree.

Keeping with the nutcrackers, I wrapped all the children's gifts in nutcracker paper and the adults in sparkly colors to coordinate.

Levi's tree matches the theme of his bedroom - things that GO!

Cars, planes, boats, etc.  He loves it and so do we!

See his nutcracker collection?  Funny little angel.

Ezra's tree is white with soft colored lights and the ornaments are nursery rhymes characters.  So sweet! Like him!

I will miss the glow of their precious little trees.  They bring so much life to their little rooms.

Each little thing placed around our home is such a reminder of love.  Of family.  Of Jesus.

I hope you're having a very merry holiday season!
