Week 37: Valley of Decision.

Well folks, I am officially in the week where I had Levi. Week 37! I just can't even believe it. We are all set to go and super excited for the big day!

Baby boy has seemed to have dropped and I'm feeling a lot of "different" things going on. It's wild! I know the day is near, and I can hardly wait to meet this precious little angel! The bags are packed, last minute things are done, and we are just waiting for D-Day!

I wanted to ask you to keep us in your prayers as we were presented with some big decisions concerning Ezra's arrival at my doctor's appointment last week. I don't want a plethora of opinions since these decisions are personal and for my husband and I to make, so I am not going to go into details here, but I just really covet your prayers for us to be at perfect peace with the plan that the Lord has for this baby.

I was very anxious/overwhelmed last week when I was presented with these options, but we have been covering it in prayer and I have the utmost confidence that the Lord is moving and His will WILL be done. And whatever that is, is exactly what I want. He has shown to me over and over through personal prayer and Bible study over the past week that His hand is on the entire situation, so what have I to worry about? It's pretty amazing how He presents the perfect encouragement at exactly the right times. I've had plenty of jaw dropping moments this past week.

When I sit back, weigh the pros and cons and truly evaluate the situation, I realize that my concerns are itty bitty teeny tiny compared to what so many people are facing right now, and that really helps me put things into a humble perspective as I praise GOD for a healthy, perfect, precious little life. But also, I know that even our most trivial concerns are big to Him, and it's important to give them ALL to Him. (Not that these decisions are trivial, but to some and their situations, it may seem so. And understandably.) Ezra is my little miraculous gift from my gracious heavenly Father. And I can not WAIT to hold him in my arms.

Soon and very soon, my friends!! I'll keep you posted. :)

The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  2. I will be praying for and your family. Your blog has been such an inspiration and a great help for me. thank you! I recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy (yay boys!) at 37 weeks via c-section (placenta previa and high blood pressure issues). I'm so glad the experience was a good one. Thanks to God of course! I'm sure yours will go just as well. Little Levi seems to have done just fine! Can't wait to see pictures of baby Ezra.
