Christmas at Glam*Ma's!

I know many of you are always eager to see my Mom's holiday decor, so I took lots of pictures for you girlies. I swear this lady should have been an interior designer (and still should!), because everything is always so picture perfect. If you think it looks warm and cozy in the pictures, you should BE there. It's just home.

Mom adorned my bed with new flannel sheets with red and white snowflakes on them, an oversized soft PB pillow and throw blanket - all of which I got to keep. It was like sleeping in the clouds of Heaven.

Our Christmas jammies were at the end of the bed.

The dresser was gorgeous. I got to keep these things, too! YAY!! Big flickering candles are my favorite. So soothing - I slept with them on. :)

Christmas2011-2

The bathroom was flowing with bath goodies for me and Husby, my brother and his wife and my grandma - all who spend the night. It was so fun picking new things off the tree to use each day.

When you walk through the front door, you are greeted with a beautiful white and gold tree. It was marvelously beautiful! It was decked in horns and crowns, representative of THE KING!

The den is the coziest spot and the Old World tree sits in there, dripping with colorful ornaments!

A Fitz & Floyd Santa sat in the middle of the table, and the transferware dishes had bits of T'was The Night Before Christmas on them. SO pretty!!

Christmas2011-19

We had the entire family over for Christmas Eve and about 1pm that afternoon, my mom got SUPER sick and had to spend the entire day in bed. All that work and she missed out on the family and the dinner. We all felt so bad for her that after everyone left, we got busy and took down all the decorations for her and put them away in the barn. When we woke her up that night to open presents, she was beyond thrilled. One less thing to stress about! She always goes above and beyond to make everything so extraordinarily special for us, we wanted to show her in some tangible way just how much we love and appreciate her.

I'll recap Christmas Eve and Christmas Day soon! :)
I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  17. I am new to your blog and now totallllllly understand why everyone is so obsessed with Christmas at Glam*Mas. Oh my goodness....I am totally going to check back in, I have never seen anything like this.

I think what makes it extra special is that it is all done with love and out of a spirit of hospitality. Seriously, this is every daughters dream come true.

I myself have two little boys like you...but I am totally going to start aiming for something like this....such a magnificent inspiration!

I would love to read more about how she threw you guys birthday parties as kids - I am sure she outdid herself each time.

    You are SOOO blessed!!!
