A Peek Into The Big Boy Room!

Well folks, a few days before Levi's birthday party, we finally put the final touches on his big boy room and moved him in. It turned out exactly like I hoped it would and it's so nice having him in the bigger room. He's got so much space to play! He runs around all the time saying, "big boy room! big boy room! I'm a sleep in big boy bed!" So fun!

The theme is "things with wheels". He loves trains, automobiles and motorcycles, so this room is right up his alley.

He sleeps on the lower bed and we took the ladder off for now because he loves to climb up to the top and then it makes me nervous if I'm not in there with him. He can graduate to the top when he gets older, if he wants.

I'm in love with the wall art we chose for this room. It's just so little boyish and a lot of fun. I especially love these:

The door to the right is his closet, which is really big (thankfully). Inside is his book shelf with his (hundreds) of books, his clothes (of course) and the majority of his toys. He also has a ton of toys in the big toy chest at the foot of the bed.

The bedding came from Landofnod.com and it's really comfortable and great for the room theme! The sheets are from Target and they match so well.

We have pull down black out shades hidden under the valances (they go over the wooden blinds). They completely darken his room during the day for nap time and I don't know what we would do without them.

This room is absolutely the cheeriest, brightest room in the house! Consequently, it also houses the cheeriest, brightest little boy in the house! :)
