Weebie Wednesday: Levi's Songs.

I make up little songs for Levi all the time. Two of them have stuck with us and remain his very favorites. The first one, I came up with when he was just two months old and he laughed and grinned every single time I sang it (and still does)! The other came about around his 8th month of life when he was fighting a nap.

We sing these little songs daily around the house, and I wanted to write them out so that we would never forget them.

Weebie Boy.

He is my Weebie Boy,
He is my pride and joy.
He is my little love,
Sent straight from Heaven above.
He is my little lamb,
And he's my little man ...
He is my Weebie Boy.

Sleepy Train

All aboard the Sleepy Train,
headed to Sleepy Town.
It's a long ride but we'll get there soon
and then we'll turn around.

Sleepy Town, oh Sleepy Town,
filled with candy and toys.
Sleepy Town, oh Sleepy Town,
the place for girls and boys.

It is so much fun in Sleepy Town,
there we dream and play.
You and me are the King and Queen,
our reign is there to stay!

Sleepy Town, oh Sleepy Town,
filled with candy and toys.
Sleepy Town, oh Sleepy Town,
the place for girls and boys.

This is the little face I see every time these tunes leave my lips.
I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  1. How incredibly sweet. If all the songs I make up about my dogs are any indication, I'll probably be doing this very same thing when/if I have a baby. :)

  3. How cute! And very sweet! Similar to Jenni's comment above, if the silly songs and dances that I do with my maltese are any indication then watch out children! I'm a one person variety show! My husband gets a kick out of it. I'm nerdy like that :)
