Favorites Friday: Powder Room Edition.

Today I want to share about some of my favorite products used in le bathroom. This is not a compensated review, simply my favey faves!

When I hop into the shower, the first thing I do is pop open my body wash. I love body wash. I try new ones out all the time and could spend way too long in Sephora sniffing each variety. However, two of my favorites aren't even sold in such stores as Sephora.

A long time tried and true fave of mine is the Satsuma scent from The Body Shop.

The smell will suck you in and send you away to La La land in no time flat. It's delicious.

I recently ran out of all of my fancy shcmancy body washes that Mom usually stocks me up on in Christmas Stockings and Easter Baskets and the like, and grabbed this one at a local grocery market.

Aveeno Active Naturals Pomegranate and Rice Body Wash. The smell is insane. I seriously can't stop huffing the bottle during bath time and often use entirely more than needed trying to make the scent stronger and last longer on my skin. It smells and feels delightful. Yum!

After my bod is washed and smelling ever so loverly, it's time to wash my hair.

My favorite shampoo is ....

Fekkai Full Volume Shampoo (I also use the conditioner).

Even though I still don't know how to say the name of this brand, I love the results. Full, soft, voluminous hair with shine. Love it.

Next stop? Le Face!

Hands down my favorite face wash is Chanel Precision.

Though I can't always afford it, it is definitely without a doubt the best. It is pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. Plus, it lasts an eternity (I only have to buy like 2 a year). The way it feels on your face and makes your face feel is unbelievable. My face is as soft as a Weebie bottom because of this stuff.

I am a firm believer in taking care of your skin while you're young and it will benefit you as you age. I can use this face wash (and the cream moisturizer - ahhhhh....THE BEST) and know that it's good quality cleanser, or spend an equivalent amount each time trying out new ones, trying to find one I like.

When I can't eliminate something else in the budget to purchase the cleanser, I opt for the next best thing ....

Origins Checks and Balances. The way your face smells and feels after you clean with this stuff is great. It smells so clean and mint like. This cleanser is my favorite consistency. A teeny tiny pea sized dab will lather up your entire face and neck. It's wonderful and lasts months.

For late night quick cleansers, these are my saving grace ...

Neutrogena Make Up Remover Cleansing Towlettes. Love love love the little towelettes that do not require water! Grab, dab and snooze!

My all time favorite lotion is Philosophy's Falling In Love.

Like the name, the smell is very flirty and romantic. It almost smells like cotton candy or something sweet like that. I also have the perfume and I use it as my "at home" scent. Mmmmm.

My next favorite lotion is Origins Gloomaway Body Souffle.

The consistency of this lotion is so creamy and soft. It feels like it instantly seeps into your skin and begins moisturizing. The smell is grapefruit-like and simply divine.

I am a citrusy, clean, fresh and sweet type of fragrance girl. I don't like floral or heavy scents, so if you seem to want something light and fresh, I would try out any (or all) of these products. I smell like a dreamland when I step out of the powder room!

Happy Weekend, Lovies!
