Sweet Christmas for Three.

This week, I want to recap all of my Christmas festivities and fun! (So basically, from now until the new year, you will see lots and lots of pictures!) Today, I want to show you a glimpse into the night before we left our home to be with our family.

Since our folks live an hour away and we have two of the smallest vehicles known to man, we decided to have a little family Christmas, just the three of us (so we didn't have to haul ALL of the presents to and fro). We got into our jammies, put on the Christmas tunes and opened our presents to each other. It was so sweet, and so fun.

(This was earlier in the day when we went to visit Santa.)

Levi had to check out the tag to make sure it was really his present and not someone elses.

Wrapping paper is SO MUCH FUN!

DPP_0011

"What. Is. That.???"

DPP_0008

He wasn't too sure what to think about his pal Scout.

DPP_0015

He grew to LOVE him!

DPP_0012

Husby tried to guess what I got him.....he was wrong. :)

Levi really appreciated my fine wrapping skills. Thanks, baby cakes.

Next, I opened my present from Weebie.

A "Comfy"!! (Which is Brookstone's version of the Snuggie, but it is much thicker, heavier and softer. LOVE IT!)

Next, I was in for a surprise of a lifetime.

Husby gave me this gift first.

And then brought out this bad boy!!

A really nice, really CUTE road bike! I am so excited to learn this sport. Husby has been riding since this summer and is just addicted. Now he wants us to ride as a family.

It was a very sweet evening with my boys. The perfect way to start our Christmas week!

  22. Wowzers! Great gifts!

Ok, so please, please, please blog about how you guys will ride as a family. Are you going to get Levi a little buggy? I only ask, because my husband is HUGELY into riding/triathlons, etc... and he has been wanting me to take up riding too. Anyhow, I just don't feel comfortable going alone, and when can we find the time to go together as a couple, w/ a baby?!?
