***Update***
I used this site to create my first book. This site is SO SIMPLE because all you do is upload your site to theirs, choose which ones you want in your book (I used all of 2008) and then they do the rest. It is so, so easy and they have it finished and in your hands in less than 2 weeks. However, there are lots of other sites, like Blurb.com where you can completely customize and have total control over every single part of the book (placement of pictures, font, etc.), but it is much more time consuming and a little more difficult. I plan on doing that with future books simply because I'll have more time, but I just wanted to get 2008 printed and documented ASAP so I can focus on 2009. The site I used for this book prints it out exactly like your blogs are - pictures in the same place and everything. It's great, the quality is awesome, and I was so happy with the results. I 100% recommend it.***

Blogging is not only a wonderful creative outlet for me, but also a way for me to document my feelings and my life. I often fear the crash of Blogger or the WWW, and my written memories being erased forever. How would I ever remember all of those things I felt, or all of the things we did?

So.

In attempts to keep my blogs in my possession forever, I had my blog turned into a book! In this edition of The Glamorous Life a Housewife, it captures all of 2008. In January, once the end of the year festivities are over and blogged about, I am going to turn 2009 into a book as well. I will continue to print them off in book form for as long as I continue to blog.

For the cover, I used my old header, since that was what was on my blog in 2008.

For the back cover, I used our Christmas card picture, since the ending was December!

I love it!! It was super easy to do and the quality is awesome. I love that my kids will always have these books and see what their Momma was up to before they were even born. So neat.

I was thrilled to receive this in mail! It was so fun rereading all of my past posts and I have to admit, some things I didn't even remember!! It's crazy how much we can forget in such a short time. That, my friends, is why blogging is fantastical.
I am a modern day homemaker with a passion for family, cooking, celebrating, decorating, travel, and memory making! The Lord has blessed me with the desires of my heart in my husband and our two sons. We recently built our dream home and cultivating a loving and happy haven for my family is where I find so much joy.

  33. I used Blurb and loved it. It was easy and the book turned out great. Friends and family are always paging through my book when they are visiting.
I did 15 months to start and now I will add a book each year.
On my blog there is a sample of 12 pages of my blurb book. Blurb gives the button to add to your site when you order your book.
Loved the editing-making some photos smaller and some larger.
    Wonderful keepsake.
